I was super impressed with Mahomes. Like he’s a 23 year old going blow for blow with Brady. He’s been so poised all year and he just keeps pressing down field and he’s really fun to watch.
But at the end of the day, this is what Tom Brady does. Nine Super Bowl appearances. He’s motivated again, and playing with that chip on his shoulder.
I have zero interest in seeing the Rams win a Super Bowl. I hope Brady beats them by 40. It’s a damn shame we didn’t get a Brees vs Brady showdown.

1. Hats off to the Pats. Got beat fair and square. I thought the only bad call was the Dee Ford “hit to the head” that hit the numbers. We’ll be back, I believe.
2. Defense didn’t have a good chance to hold up in OT. And it didn’t. I hope for a new DC in the off-season. That last pick was timely as hell so gotta give them that.
3. Edelman didn’t touch that ball and Hogan caught that other one. No ref screw job here (**** fake forward progress)
4. Losing sucks. Bad day to be a home team. That no call helmet hit in the earlier game was absolutely atrocious.
5. First Half Pat against the Pats always looks like a really young QB with only a year of starting under his belt. We have a game in Foxborough next season, so we’ll get to see where he is in his ability to read and shift protection is against the reining AFC champs.
6.Speaking of Pat, he’s the MVP. And hopefully next year he can try for a different type of MVP. He has steps he still needs to take to avoid being a one season wonder, but so far he’s been a wizard. It’s weird to think they actually left too much time at the end for Pat as well. Other wise, no OT.
7. Pats/Rams was my least desirable match up but who knows. Both games today were quite good so maybe we’ll get a third one as good.

First off since i hate the Saints and Brees i was thrilled when he got picked in overtime.
Secondly and importantly, The GOAT did it what he did best, win a big game when under pressure! Gronk looked like his oldself and The Squirrel (Julian Edelman) got some clutch catches.

Brady can’t retire if they win this year. Otto Graham took his team to ten Pro football championships, Brady will only have nine. Graham did his ten in ten consecutive years though. Graham is still the GOAT! Jk he played in a league with like ten teams.
Yes I’m a Pats Brady fan( Cowboys are my team, but my oldest is named after Tom Brady [sort of]). Nine Super Bowls Is insane ! I grew up in the 70s and 80s and thought no one would ever touch Bradshaw and Montana. Especially if Aikman and that Cowboys team couldn’t do it. In the modern era with 32 teams making nine Super Bowls In 17 years is insane. Talent wise I would still take Elway Marino P Manning before him but he has been part of A perfect storm his entire career.

I wish Patrick Mahomes was my team's QB.
As bored as I am of the Patriots at least if they win the SB Jason McCourty gets a ring.

Honestly might root for the Patriots after that blown call. I don't really care either way in reality which is weird because I was so "anyone but the Patriots" when the playoffs started. I kind of knew what was going to happen once the Patriots won the coin toss though. As much as I don't like the guy for his constant yapping at the refs and falling at a stiff breeze to try to get a roughing call, it's impressive to watch Brady march down the field in critical moments time and time again. Glad I can say I saw him live once.
I'm more concerned about what the Jags do with Fournette after all of his shenanigans this year. I'm glad my jersey that I bought of his ended up being a dud and falling apart midway through the season so that I had to buy a new one. Also hoping that they can grab Bridgewater who I think might be a legit starter and don't fall for the Foles trap. Having season tickets this year really threw me off the fantasy train, which was probably a bit of a blessing in disguise since I always put way too much time and effort into leagues that no one else really paid attention to.

Day 2 is upon us and the rampage at home has not stopped. Apparently the booth should have reviewed the play. Despite being told 3 dozen times now that the booth doesn't review penalties, I'm still wrong. The booth should have reviewed the catch, because I guess that makes sense. I know my wife didn't come up with that on her own. She had to read it on a Facebook fan page or something.
This is gonna be a long 2 weeks.

PI calls should be reviewable so it'll be interesting to see where the league goes with that in the offseason. Robey-Coleman outright saying he committed it was funny.

Some performance that from the Patriots. Worth staying up for here in the UK.

Still fancy the Rams to do it, underdogs tend to do well in the Superbowl.

I knew the game was going to be close and it was a tough win for sure. Too bad that Chiefs vs. Patriots wasn't the Superbowl, because that game almost gave me a heart attack lol.
