No matter what happens people just love to hate on Lamar Jackson. Stays out of trouble and doesn’t run his mouth but the hate keeps on coming. Dude's a freak athlete. I've got mad respect for him despite his team. That said, I DO get the impression (having listened to mic ups and some of his post game interview mannerisms) that at some point, he's gonna turn into a diva like Brown. I'd hope not, because he's got a in hell of an "American Dream" type story that enamored me in the pre-draft buildup (as I don't follow Louisville in college ball), but having dealt with Brown...I just get that sinking feeling.

9-1
Id like to go at least 4-2 over the next 6 games. Even if we slip to 3-3 and end this brutal stretch at .500 we should be sitting pretty for the playoffs.

I don’t think so. He says he’s “boring” and doesn’t do anything but stay in the house and play the game. Lol He is just having fun, that’s all.

Mitch getting benched in a 10-point game...
Seen reported it was some sort of hip issue.

Mitch Trubisky will always have a special place in my heart for replacing my crappy incumbent QB and improving my offense in my North Carolina dynasty in NCAA '14, but the Bears picking him over Mahomes and Watson is already one of the great NFL draft blunders of all time.

9-1! Jules TD pass looked awesome, had flashbacks to when he threw it to Danny Amendola against the Ravens years ago.
I bet Ryan Pace is thinking about trading the farm for Joe Burrow, Tua or Justin Herbert. The Bears Offence needs to be blown up.

Welp, half the roster is either injured, suspended, or not good enough to get a start without a lot of help.
So the Bengals should be getting their first win, come 17 hours or so from now.

in Cleveland fans making a Mason Rudolph piñata and beating it with a helmet. Two questions about that. 1. They know they're not going to have a winning season regardless, right? 2. That said, they know that they actually WON last week, right? Despite being division rivals, I've had a soft spot for the Browns because they're so ing awful you almost want to see them succeed, like seeing your baby take their first steps but be internally pissed that they're growing up. But after last week, and this...the sympathy and empathy I've had for the fan base who's stuck around through thick and thin...it's all gone. Just classless.

Titans playing games with my heart again. I'll bump this in two weeks when they lose to the Jags.

I'd bet there were fans in Pittsburgh who made jokes about Carson Palmer's ACL.

I'd bet there were fans in Pittsburgh who made jokes about Carson Palmer's ACL. Yeah, there were. And it peeved me. I get that Palmer going down by Van Olhovven is what aided the Steelers to win that game, courtesy of Grandpa Kitna. Doesn't make taunting it right. But Mason got benched today, and Duck Hodges made the comeback. And after his game against LA, plus the comeback win today, he's earned the starter spot as far as I'm concerned. And probably better that Mason and Pouncey aren't in next week's game anyways. Granted they're gonna go after Duck and Boswell because they came off the sidelines during the fight but still.

The XFL is reportedly rebuffing the efforts of the Detroit Lions to sign QB Josh Johnson.
