Philly NY Chicago Toronto Montreal
I'm from Philly so I know how passionate we are about wrestling. Every crowd I've been in it was always loud and very vocal.
I didn't get a chance to go to House of Hardcore a few weeks back but I saw the clip of Terry Funk saying Philly has the best fans in the world. Made me proud. E C Dub!!!!
The other 4 cities I listed are the cream of the crop as well imo.

I think you're pretty close to spot on with those cities for todays product. But if you look at the 80s ,you could easily add St Paul/Minneapolis, Dallas, Atlanta, Memphis ,and San Francisco to that list. They were all "hotbeds" at one point during both their territorial days and after the bigger explosion of wrestling post 84/85. The Mid Atlantic area as a whole hung on to the excitable crowds long after Crockett went under and Turner took over. They even stayed hot during the post monday night war era WWE. Nowadays it seems to have cooled a bit I'd say though. The cities you already named such as NYC, Chicago, Philly, and Toronto have ALWAYS been hot crowds throughout, and are probably the measuring stick of any live crowd these days.

I had those cities in mind as well since like you said they were hotbeds during the territory days. When I picked my five, it was mainly for the old days and not so much with todays product.
I'm an old school fan through and through and I 100% agree with you over the cities you mentioned. I miss the old hot crowds from those days.

New York Philadelphia Boston Toronto Chicago
I just thought back to the 80s and all the old WWF house shows that would be on Prime Time Wrestling or on the old WWF Coliseum Videos, and those five cities come to mind first.
