When I opened this thread, the gif of Ember Moon came up before Heyman's Tweet and I got excited for a moment...

I'm excited for this. I do hope it's more than jsut one match. Goldberg against Rollins or Owens has potential. It's going to be one match. Why feed young stars to old talent? That accomplishes nothing. How is it any different than what they currently doing with brock now.

Hate that they've announced that before it happens. They must be struggling massively for ratings

1) In reference to how bad Raw's been: I don't know what it is, but it just seems like it just trods along, and has no excitement to it. It kind of just exists
2) In reference to how some feel Goldberg vs. Lesnar II is meh: I want to believe that because their first match happened when WWE was not used to dealing with part-timers, that because Goldberg was going out the door, and that because Lesnar was screwing them over, that WWE didn't want anyone of them looking good out of the match. I want to believe tha WWE believed that those leaving should go out on their back and that it was caught between a rock and a hard place since both guys were leaving. So they had the guy who was screwing them over job to the guy that they knew was leaving, but had the match be rather dull because of it.
Thus, it was not to knockdown beat-em-up brawl we were expecting. Now that WWE realizes the value to parttimers and one-offs, they may actually have a chance to go out there and put on a good match.
So, basically, I'm excited about the match. Couldn't care less about the buildup. Wished it would take place at Wrestlemania 33. Never saw Goldberg wrestle live (at least to my recollection). And, with the "rumors" about how Sting wants one more match at Mania 33, I, being a WCW fanboy, would be drinking it all in. Two WCW Mega Stars, with 1 being a Icon, wrestling 1 more time at Mania? Yeah, I'd love it.

You think they're using this match to help sell the Royal Rumble tickets, or saving for WM? Honestly, I'd love it for Mania. Do like hte Rock vs. Cena buildup. Realistically, it'd be Survivor Series or Royal Rumble because screw it.

Can't wait for Goldberg to plant Heyman's ass with a spear. Show Woman Reigns how it's done.

Ho hum. Another part timer taking time away from the workers who really bust there asses every week. I just hope it's as huge as a cluster their mania 20 match was. No way in hell Lesnar loses. He won't agree to that.

I'm so excited to see this! Apparently I'm in the minority. Sorry but I'm biased towards my favourites that I grew up watching.

I'd been a wrestling fan for 2 years when he came back for his 03/04 run and was gutted when he left after WM20. I am so excited to see him back in a WWE ring for however long it may be.
