I believe Riddick Moss is the one who injured him with that botch of a powerslam. I saw the names, and recognized both. I saw riddick during an NXT Live Event in West Palm, and Tony Sabbatelli was a person I knew back in school who made fun of me for wanting to be a wrestler. Well you should make fun of him now. "Whose the guy grabbing other men in their panties now?!" Guys like Joe and Itami, Aries, Nakamura, Balor.. They have no reason to be down in development for multiple years facing guys that have 3 months experience wrestling.. It's just asking for injury. Every guy named can go to the main roster immediately like Styles did.. You're telling me Samoa Joe wasn't ready for the WWE main roster? Austin Aries wasn't ready for the main roster? No way. I think Joe and Aries might've been hired just for NXT. Hell, Joe was supposed to be a part timer like Gargano and Ciampa were until they saw how well his t-shirt was selling (and I think RoH getting on Destination America was part of the reason as well).

-- The other thing I wanted to add, is that a smaller guy shouldn't be delivering the quick slam move on a guy similar to his size. Take Joe for example, he's hit that move on AJ and Daniels Idk how many times over the years, but he did it so well because he's a big guy who can rotate his body weight in such a quick way, he won't drop a guy straight on his head or neck. The guy will land flatback everytime.
Personally, when I was training in Michigan, I had a match against a fellow training partner and I inadvertently scooped him and delivered this same quick slam. It was just one of those things where it happened so fast, I hadn't realized I did it until after he kicked out of the pin that followed it. Fortunately, I was bigger than the guy and instinctively rotated quick enough to slam him on his back, thanks to my strength. After the match, I was critiqued about it as it was a move I hadn't learned at that time, but looking back, it was pretty careless of me. It really is one of those moves you have to practice over and over and over and over and over again, continuously, if you plan on using it in your move set (like Joe has).

I wonder if the WWE will cut their lost with Itami and let his contract run out and not use him anymore. He has had the worse luck since coming to the WWE. Problem here is that, thats all it is, EXTREMELY bad luck. Neither of his injuries seemed to be his fault, or an unprofessionalism on his part. I mean this one, riddick moss straight up spikes him unsafely. Shouldnt punish Itami for other mistakes. If anything, they need to start releaseing unsafe workers, not the ones getting injured. Because most if the time its the guy doing the moves fault. If they did that though, they'd only have Reigns and Ambrose on the roster for the eventual Shield reunion.

Im talking more guys within their first year in the company, that dont get any better. Accidents DO happen, not saying that anyone who has injured people are dangerous. But when you look at how Moss gave that powerslam, thats a BIG problem that he should be reprimanded for.

Sad news, he'd prob be nxt champ if it wasn't for injuries. I hope its just a stinger. He and Ibushi probably would have won the dusty classic or atleast be in the finals

He's hoping to be back by December for Japan. He looks like he's doing fine, could have been a lot worse. Shane that a vet like him has to be carrying green guys like that.
