This guy's never going to get anywhere if he keeps getting injured.

-- And this is EXACTLY why you don't put guys like Joe, Shinske, Roode, EY, Aries, ect... through the developmental NXT. It's just added wear & tear to an already beaten up body. Sad the example has to be Itami.

For 's sake. Sentiments exactly. Someone posted above about not putting them through NXT, while I disagree, I will say that guys like Joe, Aries, Itami, etc... should not be wrestling guys who don't know what they're doing. I didn't recognize either of the guys in the ring with Itami. Means they likey aren't on NXT TV much (if at all) and they are just used in training and live events. Those kind of guys should not be getting to face the upper echelon of NXT stars.

I believe Riddick Moss is the one who injured him with that botch of a powerslam. I saw the names, and recognized both. I saw riddick during an NXT Live Event in West Palm, and Tony Sabbatelli was a person I knew back in school who made fun of me for wanting to be a wrestler.

Apparently Nakamura was involved int hat match? Could you imagine what would have happened if he had been on the receiving end of that failed powerslam?

Styles wasn't put through NXT, and look at him now, no greater example than being the World champ. And the guys I name dropped, are on the same caliber that of AJ Styles, due to their mutual upbringing in TNA obviously. As with NXT, I've always viewed it as the ground that supports the cream that rises to the top (sort of speak). In other words, the best talent they've developed, ultimately shines the brightest - becoming the faces of that particular brand.

As with NXT, I've always viewed it as the ground that supports the cream that rises to the top (sort of speak). In other words, the best talent they've developed, ultimately shines the brightest - becoming the faces of that particular brand. I was extremely happy when AJ debuted on the main roster. Ultimately I whole heartedly believe that guys like Joe, Itami, Nakamura, could have been sent straight to main roster but I doubt they would have gotten the reaction they got/get at a smaller localized indy-friendly venue like NXT first. Ultimately then I don't see them getting the push they truly deserve and that some are getting now like Owens. Also if they didn't pass through NXT first, I feel like NXT would have been dead in the water within the first year or two. Let's face it NXT has given us a handful of successful homegrown talent like Wyatt, The Womens Division, Enzo/Cass, American Alpha, etc... but they also gave us Mojo Rawley, Nia Jax, ZZ, and Dana Brooke so I'm not convinced based on just their home grown talent that NXT would have the same success if all Indy guys just pass through. NXT has the popularity it does is because of all the indy guys. Zayn, Joe, Aries, Nakamura, Balor, Neville, Itami, Roode, Owens, Rollins, Ambrose, Asuka, Apollo Crews, all were big names on the independent circuit and had a following already before coming into NXT. Also fear that they would get lost in the main roster shuffle. Look at guys like Sami Zayn, Neville, Bray Wyatt, Vaudevillians, Ascension, Corbin, Kalisto, Crews, Enzo & Cass, Breeze are all on the main roster now, and even with split rosters they don't know what to do with them. Instead TV time goes to guys like Braun Strowman. So I ask, if guys like Zayn, Neville, etc... have got through NXT with major success and still haven't found a solid spot on a split roster (some on a 3 hour show), then what chance would they have stood without NXT?
