I am not feeling the Online mode this time. I loved how it was in RDR, but this I am just not feeling. I gave it a try Wednesday but I wasn’t really feeling it being a story. And the build you own character was a bit of a letdown because there really wasn’t that many choices in each category in building the base look of your character. (Hair facial features, etc) I liked how the original RDR was where you could pick one of 8+ characters in each gang/group. I didn’t play it at all yesterday and did the Law Missions this morning. But I wish there was an option where we could do the missions by ourselves if we wanted instead of co-ops.

If the missions are forced co-op I just won't do them unless my one friend is on. Don't care to play that with anyone else, because griefers and s***.

You had to meet the Sheriff/Marshal at Pikes Bason, Tumbleweed and New Hanover for 3 co-op law missions.

I’m not really interested in the online mode. I’m still enjoying replaying the story mode/doing side missions.

Story mode is more than enough for me. I loved GTA online in its early days, it was a lot of fun. Sad to see what it's become, if you're not a modders or shark card buyer you may aswell keep out of free roam. Still, got to remember that RDRO is in beta so hopefully it will get better and they'll learn from GTA's mistakes.

I've put so many hours into this game and I still can't get over the interactivity. The fact that walking through a muddy swamp verses walking on a street or grass feels different is such a nice touch. That's my biggest gripe with wrestling games-- hitting an opponent with a steel chair feels no different than hitting an opponent with any other type of weapon. And dropping them onto the ring mat feels no different than dropping them on the stage or outside the ring. I think in modern day gaming all video games should follow suite with rockstar and put more attention to detail on how environments work with the player, not just making them a background.

Ok how does one save online? Every time I go back on my hunting stats are reset to zero. Yesterday I had killed 6 flying birds. killed 20 species of animals and skinned 60 +. This morning they were all reset to zero

Still doing story but gave the online a go last night. Think there's some fun to be had in the mode but I don't see myself sinking a massive amount of time into it.

It’s been very glitchy. I figured out the issue at least for me...The tumbleweed Sheriff office Missions have been messing me up. If the Sheriff is invisible when I go into the office the game won’t progress and it will just lose everything I did between then and when I shut it off.

I went to the fence in Theives Landing and as I scrolled down to the free revolver, the game completely crashed out to the error report screen.

I'm not having any connection issues, but like others have said, it's not very impressive to me so far. One thing I loved about GTA online was being able to get to wherever I'm going fast. And at least to start off with, I've got a slow horse, and it's not like GTA where you can steal someone else's and quickly get out of site from the law, you have witnesses and the law has faster horses. Just not really feeling it right now. The coolest thing I've been able to do so far is form a posse with a friend, we stole someone coach, and one of us drove it, while the other sat inside the coach. That's cool I guess, but hardly cool enough to justify the online aspect as a whole.

I’ve got zero interest in online at the moment. There’s still so much going on in single player to even contemplate abandoning it just yet. I’ve spent the last three days trying to complete all the Trapper outfits, and still haven’t finished.

I'm at 50% story completion after 45hours, didn't think I had that much more to go. Been some pretty cool parts of the story like the whole Braithwaite conclusion and the poker game on the boat. I didn't like how Dutch basically done nothing at the start but I like him more now, think Hosea is my favourite of the crew.

I'm far too ed up and tired to read this entire thread. Is this game worth it? Is it a quick beat? I may try to acquire a copy from Redbox or something. I can't buy games and feel good about myself as a 30-year-old. I want to play this, but preferably if it's a quick beat. I don't know if you guys just grind games, but I found it insane how someone had finished the game in one day (back on page 1 or 2). I still find it insane, since people are still posting about beating and 100%'ing the game.... but maybe I just am insanely slow when it comes to video gaming. So how long is this for someone who games very, very slow? It's not a quick beat and it's definitely worth getting. This is a game you'll want to savour and enjoy, I don't get people who try to beat it as quick as possible, you can't possibly take in all this game has to offer in 1-2 days. Saying that, I found the story so enjoyable that it sucked me in for many hours per day Thanks for the input. Sounds really fun.

I’ve found it easier to roam Blackwater and the Great Plains as Arthur than it is to find a single moose. Even worse is that I need two of them, both with three star quality. Fourth hour searching, here’s hoping!
