I don't care for this Lesnar vs Goldberg match. The first one was awful. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy Goldberg's promo. It felt real and full of emotion. I loved how he stared the camera down, no one really does that. Also, the "You're Last" line was great. I really hope both guys are motivated. I'm sure Goldberg will be motivated, he'll want to do his best for his son. I just hope Lesnar is. It shouldn't main event, maybe 2nd or 3rd to last match, but I really hope they prove me wrong and have an entertaining fight. I agree, his delivery of the promo was excellent. No coincidence that the promo was so good because he just spoke from the heart and didn't have to read it off a sheet of paper that the writers wrote for him.

I'm just sitting here thinking 12 years out, all of these possible Wrestlemania big money matches gone by, chances for shock returns, memorable moments, and it's all kind of just been left in favour of an anti-climatic return. If it really is just one single one-off Match with Lesnar at Survivor Series to help promote the WWE 2K17 Video Game then I'm fine with it, I suppose, as it least more or less ensures that Goldberg wont be the one to beat Lesnar clean. My worry for Goldberg though is that by the time Survivor Series comes around the novelty of him being back will have worn off, and if the treatment the crowd gave them back 12 years ago was bad enough, this day and age's crowd could absolutely tear the match to shreds.

Well I marked like a bitch. Just saying.
For me, I'm all about WCW 98' that was the era I was HOOKED.
Goldberg was my John Cena sorta guy.
Great to have him back, but yeah I'm veryyyy skepital of the match itself.

So awesome to see Goldberg back, gutted that it's just the one match. I'd love to see him feud with Rollins, Orton, Reigns, Cena etc. The Lesnar fight is not appealing to me, I'm done with Lesnar, it's stale now.

Really? Why is that bad news? Big returns ALWAYS jack the ratings up.

Not that I'm saying wwe shouldn't have Indy guys, but it's a problem when your last class of legit homegrown talent is in 2002.

Miz and Ziggler are homegrown so 2006 That is true, but if you make any comparison to John cena, Batista, lesnar, or Orton it's not even close, but I do agree with you that those two have reached main event status.

What a bizarre, and utterly incorrect, thing to say. So Curt Hawkins will provide the ratings bump for Smackdown that Goldberg did for Raw?

I like tons of indy guys, but a lot of them are and will never be comparable to legends like Goldberg, Jericho, Stone Cold, etc.
