Yep I'm in, always fun to see your bracket go up in flames after the first round. Harvard screws me every year. Every damn year.

I haven't been following much this year because Syracuse just makes me sad but I'd give it a go.

Down 21 in the second half and Notre Dame comes all the way back to keep tourney hopes alive!

Down 21 in the second half and Notre Dame comes all the way back to keep tourney hopes alive! I have them out being honest. Them and Middle Tennessee need miracles.

Beating Duke would've locked it up. Now we have to sweat it out. We SHOULD be in if everything is taken into consideration.. current resume, healthy stars, and playing 15 games without Bonzie(and 5 of those 15 without Farrell too). Will it all be enough for the committee? I don't know. Middle Tennessee could be a bid stealer in their own right by getting in with another team winning their tournament. And who knows if another stolen bid could come from another conference.. A-10 maybe. Gut feeling to me is that we'll be left out.

Are invites given out based on actual records or could have been if not for injuries? I'd hate for some other team with a better resume to not get in because on paper they are less talented than a healthy ND team. Then again, with 64 (actually more) teams in the tournament but only 8-10 having a realistic chance to win, it doesn't matter all that much which teams on the bubble get in and which go to the NIT.

Injuries are "taken into consideration." We definitely don't have the greatest of resumes, our chances of beating good teams we just couldn't pull out the games. Back-to-back home losses to UNC(by 1) and Louisville(overtime), and by 5 at UVA on Bonzie's 2nd game back. The difference may very well be losing to Ball State and Indiana WITH Bonzie before he went down. Could be 22-12 instead without two "bad losses" on the resume.

Syracuse?! outta here. I mean, if we're comparing ND to Cuse: Syracuse (20-13) SOS: 18 RPI: 45 Notre Dame(19-14) SOS: 45 RPI: 70 If Syracuse shouldn't have been in neither should ND. Syracuse played several games this year with basically four and a half fully healthy players, so the injury argument doesn't do much for me either. Granted, I do think that neither team should be in and USC and some of the mid-majors got snubbed quite badly. I'm also a Syracuse alum so I'm going to be admittedly biased. But last time this happened and everyone was saying Syracuse shouldn't have made it they made the final four so..... Go Orange.

Even tho they were ranked right next to each other by the committee clearly the fact that we won AT Syracuse without Bonzie AND Farrell didn't matter. And you're right, our numbers don't stack up just by looking at them, but taking our injuries into account I haven't heard anyone on TV suggest that we shouldn't have gotten in.
Literally any other bubble team besides Syracuse and I would not be upset. I'd take Louisville, Notre Dame, USC, Oklahoma State, Middle Tennssee, and Saint Mary's over Syracuse. I know Baylor was a "last 4 out" but I don't really know why they were that close. But then again as an ND fan and having never liked Syracuse, I'm a little biased too.

Putting everything aside tho, there's a few simple reasons why we're not in:
-Davidson winning the A-10 knocked us off as the last team in -And losing December games to Ball State and Indiana at fully strength

Where we doing a bracket this year? I'm pretty sure King Richius or Ace Bennett were going to set it up. ESPN would be best. And just get the emails and invites out super quick.

So, who has who winning?
As a resident Kentuckian, I only watch UK, and I don't think they will make it past the sweet 16. Surprised they won the SEC to be completely honest.
