Well in my opinion anyway as far as the greatest Christmas movies of all time go I have a lot of Christmas movies that could be held up in consideration such as:
Die Hard (1988)
Die Hard 2 (1990)
Home Alone (1990)
Home Alone 2: Lost In New York (1992)
A Christmas Story (1983)
Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas (the 1966 cartoon version and the 2000 live-action film with Jim Carrey as The Grinch)
Elf (2003)
It's A Wonderful Life (1946)

Santa's Little Sluts 4 is underrated. I haven't seen the first 3, will I understand the plot if I just watch 4?

Santa's Little Sluts 4 is underrated. I haven't seen the first 3, will I understand the plot if I just watch 4? 1 and 2 kinda tie into eachother, but the 3rd is more standalone because the director wanted to take it in another direction with a new cast and the 4th is the same cast as the 3rd, but with a whole new plot so you can go in blind and still understand it, I'd say.

I think 'A Christmas Story' is THE ultimate Christmas movie..
Christmas Vacation I think comes in very close 2nd.
Everything else is hard to compete with.. Outside of It's A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol.
Elf actually aged really well also.

Scrooged how can nobody not like Bill Murray in Scrooged? This movie is a classic and it is a modern adaptation of A Christmas Carol in a sense and it is funny as hell but there are moments where you feel sorry for Bill's character of Frank Cross especially when he visits his Christmas past and he sees himself as a little boy with his pregnant mother and his father was such a Scrooge to him which caused him to become the man he was

A Christmas Story has been a family tradition to watch every year and love watching it every time. The first two home alone movies are always going to be ones I love watch during the Christmas time so much memories All three Santa Clause movies more the first tho It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas are both awesome Jingle all the way, Elf, Both versions of How the Grinch stole Christmas, and The Polar Express are great too. Those are the top ones that I like to watch during the Christmas season.

Jim Carrey's animated motion capture CGI classic of A Christmas Carol is also a classic and there is Jack Frost which really gets at my heart
