Official RAW Thread 10/24/16: Triple Threat Main Event

Bayley goes form having the year she had last year. To having arm wrestling matches and getting this is stupid chants. Good job WWE poor Bayley.

That Brock Lesnar segment was probably the worst thing I've ever seen.......did they really think that they were going to be able to trick the Brock Lesnar hometown crowd into chanting for Goldberg? Heyman is good, but that was not doable.

So Heyman stands there and says "how dare you people chant for Goldberg" while the entire crowd chants for Suplex City and Goldberg sucks.

Then the music just playes and Lesnar and Heyman walk off......production obviously pulled the plug on the segment and decided to just get them the hell out of there.

And now Goldberg is going to be on next week to respond? Respond to what? Can we stop having promos, responses to promos, responses to responses.....it's so boring.

Just have either Goldberg or Lesnar come out and one of them needs to just yell "you want to do this mother er? Show up at Survivor Series if you've got any balls and we'll settle this once and for all" and then I don't need to see either of them again until the actual match.

Its been said before but it needs to be said again Chris Jericho is keeping me tune into this awful show thats how great he has been this year and the man deserves a title reign for his reward cause without him this show would have nothing but trash.

I sort of have to agree. Him and Owens are the highlights, pretty much everything else is trash.

Never thought I'd say this... but bringing back the brand split MIGHT have been a bad idea.

The main event was shit.

Yeah i wondered that same thing, probably at the performance center, which would be weird. I know Gargano and Ciampa are doing the Dusty Tournament, But where the hell is Gran Metalik he was in the final two.

Three thoughts about Raw:

1. Bayley vs. Dana shows how wide the gap is from the NXT fan base to the Raw fan base. No matter what the segment was crap but the NXT Universe would have fired up a "Bayley's gonna kill you" or "break her arm chant". The Raw writing team is so lazy, this just seems like another little sister vs a big bad bully story line and the fans are crapping on it.Dana is just awful all around and the people want Bayley in the title mix or back in NXT.

2. Why would the fans boo Lesnar? Again lazy writing strikes again. Instead of having it be face vs. face and letting Lesnar turn in the build up the writers honestly thought that because Goldberg is a dad and wants to be a superhero the fans would turn on Lesnar. Good god, why?

3. Jericho, Owens and Rollins are saving the show each week but this week the trio's magic is cracking. That main event was terrible. Jericho's segments were great but that was it. Rollins is starting to look like a boring face character and Owens' title reign should be Jericho's.

Yes, yes indeed he is.
