I'm not a huge fan of street gear. They all look the same after a while.

I have this figure for that reason. I remember when Jakks made the taller kick pad molds and then put out a ring gear Undertaker and one wearing his coat and I bought them both because the sleeves of the coat didn't come off. It's nice to have one figure be both ring gear and not. That being said, I have no idea why we haven't seen a Lumberjack Daniel Bryan before now. I think as the GM of Smack Down! or whatever he should get a figure now, but then I look at all those Daniel Bryan Elites at Walmart still, with the Wyatt Family jumpsuit and the Che shirt, and I just think, well, maybe we shouldn't have any more figures of him for a while. But I can't think of anyone I'd really want otherwise in street gear. No one really stands out to me. There are many wrestlers/supestars that can fall into the street gear lineup. Orton (as mentioned earlier), Jericho, Titus O Neil, Dolph Ziggler, Baley, Miz, Goldberg, all DX members (WcW invasion box set?), Sid, Brian Pillman and so on. Of those, I'd buy Pillman and that's about it. Street gear Titus O'Neil would sell like hot garbage.

While I respect everyone's opinion, this subject has always been my biggest pet peeve. I can't stand figures (especially elites) of characters that I buy in street gear. I feel like it's such a huge waste of the figure. I did buy T Shirt Macho with jeans but that's only because that was the last Macho I needed to have a complete Macho set, and I also bought the T Shirt Finn Balor but that almost doesn't count because he still has gear on, and same with the upcoming "Never Shuts Up" Rollins figure. Idk... just not my thing I guess.

I have the Hall Nash Battlepack and the first AJ Lee figure which was also in street gear. They do the job for my collection. I used to love the Jakks Rocky figures that were in street gear

No thanks. There are very few figures I wouldn't mind seeing in 'street gear'. In fact, I can probably count them on one hand: SummerSlam '02 HBK, current Jericho with skinny jeans, vest & scarf, Triple H with molded jeans and sg leather or jean jacket, The Rock with molded pants and sg $500 shirt, and lastly DX in camo gear from their Nitro invasion. That's about it.

I pass on 99.9% of figures in street gear.

This reminds me of the time someone suggested a Total Divas line where they'd all be in their casual clothes. For me, I don't particularly care for wrestling figures in street clothing. If it's part of their "wrestling attire" (using that term loosely) then fine. But other than that I dont think I'd be too interested in it.

Street gear figures never look right. The jeans always ruins it because it's just blue. It doesn't get any decals or wash to make it look like jeans. Other figure lines nail the jeans perfect but not WWE Mattel figures.

I wouldn't mind some street gear figures, but I don't want them to go crazy with it like Jakks did. Not everyone needs the street gear treatment, but certain street gear figures would be cool.
Some of my most wanted street gear figures would be...
1. As others have stated, Brock Lesnar would be a great street gear figure. Most of Brock's tv time, he's in street gear, so this figure would be an accurate representation of most of his appearances.
2. Flashback Triple H. Basically his Defining Moment figure but with molded jeans and shirt.
3. Would love the SummerSlam 2002 HBK that others have mentioned. I made a custom from a Elite Ambrose, but it doesn't have the cowboy boots.
4. I think a Batista from his heel run before he left the first time would be cool.
I'm not sure the best way to incorporate street gear figures into the line would be. I would hate to waste Elite spots on them, but wouldn't be happy with them as basics. Basics wouldn't have removable items, such as Triple H's leather/jean jacket. Maybe this would be a good time to do hybrid figures, kinda like the Kane in the basic series with the Elite legs. Maybe they could have Elite style legs, and basic torsos ( that way the logo on the shirt doesn't have to be split or squeezed onto the top half of the torso).

I would love a randy orton in street gear. The gear he wears on smackdown when he's not wrestling

I'd also love a street gear Triple H from that night he came out and paggered Roman and broke his nose

... but yes to echo what others have said, some guys will benefit from it, for some it's not really necessary
We've had The Rock, Roman, Austin. I'd like to see Triple H in jeans, Bork in track pants and a Suplex City shirt, current Jericho would be cool too

With very few exceptions, like the aforementioned HBK from SS 2002, and Triple H, and maybe a couple of others - street gear figures would NEVER sell well.
They just look too bland and unappealing. Let's face it - kids want the colourful wrestling attires to play with. Collectors prefer wrestling attires, with a minority who may buy the street gear figures. That's a very small demographic.
Jakks made a load of street gear figures, and those were the biggest peg warmers I ever saw. I think Mattel have learned from a lot of Jakks' mistakes.
