I have a bit of a rule with Mattel WWE figures. One of each guy, no matter how tempting other versions may be. But recently, I was looking at my Shield figures and I feel the three members have achieved more since the Shield split. I bought Elite 45 Rollins and Reigns and Elite 41 Ambrose. I currently have my 3 Shield figures on eBay.
Im so glad I upgraded as they are simply superior versions of all three of them. (apart from the misaligned gold on Seths vest. The vest sculpt should be plain/flat, not sculpted as it makes the paint look wonky even though its not)
What are other peoples opinions?
Do you need the most recent of each guy? Are you constantly updating your collection? Do you have a preferred look for each wrestler regardless if its current or not?

Not really only some like rollins and ambrose but reigns only added a logo to his swat gear so i did not care i don't sell my figures if i buy a figure i buy it and i don't care how old it is because one day im gonna look at them and be like "wow i had a lot of memories with these guys" so i will never sell my figures but if you do it thats fine but im just sharing what i do

I just like having one of each guy. Its a space and budget thing too. You're right, Reigns had the least change out of the three Shield members. I love the gauntlets and headscan on Elite 45 though!

I could never do one of each guy. There are so many guys that have multiple iconic looks!

I wish the E45 Rollins entrance shirt was the same material as the E37 and not the harder plastic
I try to have one of each guy in both elite and basic form. But sometimes have multiple if I like a certain attire or collect a certain character

I could never do one of each guy. There are so many guys that have multiple iconic looks! Oh man I understand, trust me! I had to fight the urge to buy Lost Legends Michaels and WM Heritage Elite Taker with material jacket! Theres also so many cool Savages and Warriors out there! I kinda have broke my own rule though lol I do have an attitude era/modern Rock, Triple H and Taker. I also have HOF and RSC Austin as he's my all time favourite wrestler.

I only want one of each gimmick. I have upgraded before but only very rarely. I have a loose collection for my son and moc for me so I usually have my favorite attire/gimmick moc and an alternate loose. The cool thing is I have 7 nephews so I just gift the figures I don't want anymore or I could always at least get my money back by just returning them to store or selling on eBay. I do try and keep it to a minimum.

Theyre so different from each other that theres no way I could turn them down. If they made more, like Isaac Yankem for example, that would be a straight away purchase.

I buy the wrestlers I like no matter how many of their past figures I have.

Only reason I don't have Shield Ambrose is cause my Basic broke.

basically my life. i sell and buy all the time, but i try to lower the pace down. only one for each, unless a totally different look, or a suit, or a demon paint. i like to collect the current roster only, but i have a few older figures and legends i cant lose, for being too iconic or rare

Depends on the guy for me. I have the first Reigns elite, and I only want the new one for the belt. But I'm gonna get E45 Rollins, so I won't need to get that Reigns. But I might. My criteria is strange. I got DM Flair, I'm definitely getting that "Retirement Match" one. I got Crow Sting, but not the GAB one. I got the basic Sasha, definitely getting E44. I'm satisfied with the first Wyatt Elites. I'm set on Cenas (my god).

Depends on who it is. If it's one of my very favorites then yes, I'll end up with a bunch of different looks, but some guys one version is enough. Others it will depend on like you did... If someone changes their image enough and they achieve a lot with that look then yeah I'll upgrade, or if the new version makes for a really cool action figure. Someone like Goldust though, one is enough for me.

I collect almost every flashback and some current
If a better figure comes out I'll sell the old one
Ex. Sold E16 Diesel to get the new one Sold E18 Lawler to get the new one
