I'm fine with it if it's a repaint. It'd be really hard to make a 100% replica in such a brief window of time. If this first belt upsets you, don't buy it. There will certainly be a VAC one in 2017 that will be perfect. If they didn't have time to do it properly then they shouldn't have bothered at all. And we as consumers should stop making excuses for Mattel when they pull this stuff, it's actually insulting They went out of their way to give you somewhat of updated merchandise after always being a year behind and now collectors are insulted by this? No wonder Bill doesn't post here anymore. |

It is much like how they made the rubber version of the WWe World Title just to hold collectors over until the proper one was released. Mattel gets enough grief for their QC problems, painting over minuscule barely readable letters on a championship isn't keeping many collectors up at night. |

This is the best line, BUT, times have changed and technology has moved on so if it wasn't the best it'd be worrying. I for one am VERY pleased with the figures coming out. I just will not blindly congratulate Mattel on stuff if, in my opinion, it's not the best it could be |

Something is better than nothing, so if this is the placeholder then that's fine. It's not like it's a huge difference anyway.

I had to get a magnify glass to even see this text. Looked like part of the design to my naked eye.
And IMO if your complaining about that minuscule of detail ... you need to find a another hobby.
As I said previously, I applaud Bill & Mattel for getting this out so soon. The title is only a few months old. And I never expected we'd get it so soon. NEVER. Hell for all I care, the Women's RAW & SD titles can use the same plates if it means we get them sooner. Cause I'll be damned if I'm going to get upset about something I can't see.

It's definitely a repainted WWE title. And yes, it does matter if you do macro photography like I do, but I don't think it's a big deal so long as they make the correct title when they can realistically get it out. It's pretty impressive that they were able to scrap the IC title for this so quickly - the title debuted at SummerSlam (August).

I actually just want to know more about the display table the belt sits on. I wonder if there's a "table" underneath with legs, or if it kinda just sits on the red "fabric" since it appears to stretch all the way to the floor.
I can't believe they got this belt and red display table out so quickly. Very impressive!

I have the version that came with Roman and it doesn't have any text. I don't think this one does either. People are complaining about something that isn't there. Personally, I'm ecstatic that they fought to squeeze it into this set. It made me order it the second I saw he came with the Universal Championship. The Spotlight Roman? Mine has the text on it but you need a jewelers loop to see it haha |
