I'm not a William Regal historian but I'm pretty sure he wore socks and didn't have white on the top of his boots. Is Mattel being insanely lazy or is this correct?  |

I think somebody ended up figuring our that Regal did wear socks and he'd roll them over the top of his boots. So weird looking, but actually accurate.

I'm looking at old pics and videos now; it does look like he has socks, but they are very low, to his boot. I honestly can't tell if it's part of the boot or high socks.

I gave mine an extra pair of the Legends Funk lower legs. First it corrects the warping and secondly it hides the boot tongues making look more like socks folded over the boots. I might still remove the boots tongues and the smooth down the laces in white area.   |

I have more of an issue with the warped legs Why are the legs on that figure so warped? I didn't notice it in pics but when I opened mine it disgusted me and now I see it in other people's photos. Is it just the way it's packaged? |

Calling Mattel lazy is what got bill to leave for months, it's not lazy it's just some basic cost cutting measures for budget purposes. It's really not a big deal

mines as well have warped legs  I should not have to boil water, to fix this. when I already pay 20$ plus at retail. but then again, I don't bother at all. its toys at the end of the day. |

Pretty sure i just spent $17 on an elite, around the same price ive been paying for years. The retailer dictates the price, not mattel Its the basic price for almost all figures with that articulation and size (marvel, dc, star was ect.) Mattel are a worldwide business, their priority is to turn profits. |

It just doesn't look good imo. I passed on this figure and might have gotten it would it been singlet Regal. The white on the boots should of just been left out and had the the knees painted white, would of been a better look imo. Regardless, I could see your frustration.

Well considering the fact that paint chips easily and leg joints can snap without force I don't believe the cost is that high. |
