Why are more people not into UK Horse Racing?

I used to be one of those guys that looked at horse racing and thought why on earth would anyone watch that? With the exception of the grand national I never really got into it like most young people, however I was sick one day lying in bed and flicking through the channels when I came across the At The Races channel. I watched a couple of races and found myself getting into it. It is one of the best sports out there once you really start to get into it. The amount of variables is fascinating, like what ground does the horse like to run on, what distance is its best, does it ride up with the pace or held up at the back, weight, age, it is soooo interesting. If your into maths there's some really fasciting puzzles and formulaes that can help you with horse racing. Its one of those sports that goes under the radar but once you get into it, you're a fan for life. You start to really appreciate the horses and jockeys and have your old favourites etc, Id really recommend it to anyone who loves their sport.
