Please don't put modern events in the classics board. If it happened within the last 3-5 years it doesn't belong here. If I had seen this before others replied I would have locked it. I like having a mod that knows the true meaning of classic. If I had my way it would be at least 10 years, but I know that is asking for too much. lol

I've had people come in my PSN community talking about current day stuff and I'm like hey you're in the wrong spot as this is an OLD SCHOOL wrestling community lol

- 1997 definitely was the year of Austin but 1997 I wouldn't have had him win the Royal Rumble Match I would have had The Undertaker win the Royal Rumble Match by last eliminating Bret which then could have set up Bret's eventual heel turn anyway because think about it like this it was always going to be Bret taking on Austin so with Taker winning the Rumble it would have set up his match with Sid perfectly

1989 M$M , why have a forgotten mid carder win, also Stud whenever wrestled at a WWE ppv ever again
1990 Ultimate Warrior, why have Hogan the WWE champion even in the match, he should have defended the title against perfect
1993 Macho Man, to have Bret vs Macho at WM 9 with Bret retaining, while Hogan can defend America against Yokozuna
1997 Undertaker, he did go on to main event WM that year and he deserved it at the time. Austin comes in and eliminates Bret after being tossed by the Hitman
1999, Stone Cold, to keep him at 3 time RR winner and that was at the peak of the Austin era
2006 Kurt Angle, Rey had no business wining the Rumble in 06 or any year for that matter. suspension of disbelief has its limits
2010 HBK, after he wins, he says he wants another shot at the streak instead of the title.
2011 CM Punk, Del Rio was a horrible choice and Punk was over as a heel with the new Nexus
2013 Ryback, was over like rove at the tim, he eliminates Cena at the end to win and goes to kill either Show or Henry for the title at WM 29. you still have the Rock/Cena 2 this way

1999 — Austin should have won, no point in McMahon winning only to forfeit the win. 2001 — Kane should have won, Kane was red hot at this point, he deserved to main event Mania 17 2011 — Barrett or Punk should have won, I would have had them keep Nexus strong and have Cena champion at Mania as the last stand against Nexus getting the title. 2014 — Punk should have won, he was booked in some real crap feuds after Lesnar and Summerslam. Punk vs. Cena is a huge missed opportunity at Mania 2015 — Bryan should have won, his comeback story was way more intriguing than a forced Roman Reigns push. 2016 — Lesnar should have won, having Reigns vs. Lesnar with an actual finish is how it should have gone down.
2017 — Balor or Rollins should win.

2011 I would have given it to Punk hands down because he was red hot as a heel with Nexus and not to mention imagine him on the Road to WrestleMania 27 interacting with Miz, Cena and Rock

88-Ultimate Warrior (Builds a star) 89-Ted DiBiase (Probably best heel in company at the time) 90-Ultimate Warrior (This would have been the first winner faces champion at Mania, Rumble) 91-Hulk Hogan (Hogan vs Slaughter WMVII) 92-Ric Flair (Flair vs Hogan WMVIII) 93-Mr. Perfect (Perfect vs Hart WMIX) 94-Lex Luger (Luger vs Yokozuna WMX) 95-Diesel (Diesel was champion & wasnt in the Rumble but the '95 Rumble just feels like a waste for HBK's career. I know the #1 & winning thing was big back then but that Rumble win is just so forgettable to me. I would have had Diesel win by last eliminating HBK. Then building their feud towards SummerSlam before Bret takes the title from Diesel at Survivor Series) 96-HBK After '96, I kinda stopped caring. It was just too easy to predict the winners then. I kinda did too. When they started making every Rumble a #1 contender match for WrestleMania, it made it very predictable. Anyways... I totally agree with those who said Savage should go over in '93. Letting Hart beat Savage at WM9 would have been an iconic torch passing moment, as opposed to what actually happened. '94 should have gone to Bret, with Luger turning heel the same night and knocking Bret out with his steel plated forearm. The Lex Express thing hadn't worked, and Lex kind of hit a dead end after WM10. He was wasted in the tag team division when he could have had a really great feud with Bret.

Rumble 93 with Randy Savage going over instead of Yokozuna. Bret Hart vs Randy Savage at WM 9 for the title would of been a classic and on top of that would of saved that event from being on the list of the worst WM's of all time. Yes! Someone should book that..................

88- Hogan (Surprized Vince didn't have Hogan win it) 89- Hogan (I agree with King Patrick Star in setting up the Mega Powers Exploding angle) 90- Warrior (Again I agree with Star on this) 91- Hogan (Keep as is) 92- Flair (Keep as is except have him face Hogan at Mania 8) 93- Savage (I'm a Bobby Heenan Guy's idea and I agree. Savage vs Bret would have been great and could've altered fans view of Mania 9) 94- Bret (Building off of Savage winning 93 and having Savage beat Bret at Mania 9 and having a rematch at Mania 10) 95, 96- Shawn (Keep as is) 97,98- Austin (Keep as is) 99- Austin (Honestly I thought the whole McMahon winning the Rumble was funny but Austin really should've won it) 00- Rock (Keep as is) 01- Austin (Keep as is) 02- nWo (Would've had them debut here and "ruin" the Rumble. Inspired by How WWE should've booked nWo 2002 by Whatculture) 03- Lesnar (Keep as is) 04- Eddie (Who's Krispen Wah?) 05- Batista (Without that botch) 06- Mysterio (Keep as is) 07- Taker (Keep as is) 08- Flair (I'm a Bobby Heenan Guy's idea and I absolutely love it) 09- Orton (Keep as is) 10- Shawn (Agree with RontaroCHEEX's idea) 11- Punk (Builds a star) 12- Jericho (tg11's idea. Better than Sheamus) 13- Austin (Either Austin v. Rock 4 or Austin v. Punk at Mania 29 for the WWE title. And when he wins he'll bring back the attitude era belt) 14- Bryan (Do I need to explain?) 15- Ryback or Kane (Can't decide. 2015 was not a good Rumble) 16- Austin or Rock (Honestly HHH winning was like Vince winning in 99 except somehow worse) 17- Taker (After RR, Goldberg wins WWE title so Taker challenges him at Mania 33 and retires with WWE title)

88 - Warrior (nice start to building him up) or 30-man with all top dogs and have Andre/Dibiase win it
89 - LOVED that it was Studd! 1 of my favs from back then. Wouldnt have minded Savage or Andre winning though
90 - Andre (his last BIG Hurrah, could been Hogan/Warrior at the end and #30 Andre comes out and tosses em both)
91 - this is one I wanted Hogan to win. Earthqauke would have been cool too, or Mr Perfect
92 - Roddy Piper (never held a wwf belt, then wins both belts & Rumble in one night = AWESOME). Flair winning and the whole ending was perfect though
93 - Yoko was a good choice IMO. Wanted Mr Perfect to win it. Coulda had G.Gonzales in it and won. I would have liked that
94 - Luger (then vs Bret at WM)
02 - Mr Perfect
