It only serves to add more fuel to the fire of the "we hate Roman Reigns" bandwagon. It's just baffling as to why WWE are happy to keep on stoking that fire Because it gets the biggest reactions. When Finn Balor or whoever beats Roman Reigns, it's a much bigger moment if they're beating Vince-appointed Superman Roman Reigns than it would be if they're beating Standard Heel Roman Reigns. From the full time roster, the only way they can ever elicit any strong emotion these days is by having an internet guy face Reigns or Cena. And those dynamics work so well precisely because of the "we hate Roman Reigns" bandwagon. All good points, can't dispute any of them. But the negative side to this is that it comes to the detriment of Roman Reigns. It's not like Cena's situation in which the crowd is split 50-50. With Roman Reigns, it's 80-20. While I'm sure Anoa'i isn't losing any sleep over it, and any reaction is far better than no reaction, I just feel that he is not as appreciated by the audience as he should be and just deserves better, and I just want to see that happen.

Here are the times between each entrant last night. WWE stated it would be 2 minutes. That only happened twice early on. The shortest time between entrants was Kalisto joining the first two after the bell rang in 90 seconds. The longest was between goldberg and taker at 2 min 59 seconds. Big pet peeve of mine. So easy to get each spot in the allotted time but I know they hardly do any choreography beforehand. Also everyone laying on the floor during spots is annoying too and then all of a sudden the all get up at the same time. The rumble could be so good but they refuse to plan ahead or care about the fans and just insult us week in and week out...

The Royal Rumble Match felt rushed almost like 95 all over again in terms of timed intervals

When does Balor return and how does he play into mania?

Can we just talk for one second about the crazy dye job Undertaker did on his beard....dude shows up on RAW with very light white facial hair, and then 6 days later, BOOM, dark brown goatee, lol.

I feel like they should've left more guys till the end like in 2009 when there were still 15 guys in the match after 30 entered.

When does Balor return and how does he play into mania? I would have Goldberg/Owens at Fastlane and Brock costs Goldberg the title. Jericho wins a tournament or "beat the clock" type of #1 Contender's qualifier and then Owens is so annoyed that Jericho thinks he is "co-champion," that he attacks Jericho and it sets up the Mania feud. At Mania I would have Jericho beat Owens for the title. During Jericho's celebration, Owens snaps and powerbombs Jericho on the apron three times. The next night on RAW they announce Jericho is out indefinitely with a back injury and the title is vacated. Owens comes out an lays claim, but the lights go out and Balor makes his return in front of the post-Mania crowd and wins the title that night. Eventually Jericho returns to cost Owens the title and sets up a Jericho/Owens final payoff at SummerSlam. See Vince, it isn't hard to book long term and short term, all the while making perfect sense

Last night proved one thing to me.
Lesnar/Goldberg absolutely CANNOT main event Wrestlemania.
Goldberg was all over the place last night. A genuinely awful performance all round from him.

Maybe its cause I hated WCW growing up and never understood his appeal, or that he is just generally awful on promos and in the ring. But yeah anyways, Goldberg v. Lesnar is main eventing Mania whether we like it or not. They have invested too much for it not too.

I wonder if I'm the only one who laughed at the Goldberg/Undertaker stare down? Between Goldberg's ankle socks, Undertaker's everything (hairline, gut, drawn on beard, obviously dyed hair), it looked like two grandfathers were about to fight over the last pudding cup

What the did I just watch? I really don't want this to turn into a rant so I'm gonna bullet point it, but I'll preface it by saying that this is the first wrestling event I've watched since Wrestlemania, the current product is too bad to maintain my interest. But I always watch Mania and the Rumble, because I usually enjoy them. - This was the 2nd Royal Rumble in a row with no surprise entrants. Really, without them the Rumble has become stale as fudge. Half of the fun of modern Rumbles is the 'who's going to come out through that curtain after the countdown. There was no payoff at all this year. At least last year they had AJ Styles... How hard is it to keep out one or two throw-away jobbers like Enzone(sp?) or Kalisto for some nostalgia pops? Just put Sting in there just so he can have a stare-down with Undertaker, that moment would have probably saved an otherwise terrible match. - The first 25ish entrants were a complete waste of time. Nothing of note happened. - Why were Goldberg, Lesnar and Undertaker even in this? They lasted probably 5 minutes between the 3 of them. Every one of them came out of it looking HORRIBLE. Lesnar was forgivable, I guess. But Undertaker and Goldberg's eliminations were weak as hell. - John Cena is ing incredible (so is Styles). The Styles vs. Cena match was the only good thing about the entire card. When Cena hangs up his boots, I suspect WWE will never recover due to their inability to create stars. - Randy Orton wins? But why? It's Cena vs. Orton again? Lel. Can't wait for Reigns vs. Undertaker (why), Brock vs. Goldberg (again?), and Rollins vs. Triple H (meh) to be the 'main events' of Wrestlemania (not). Horrible, horrible booking.

You need to all realise that the only reason why Reigns was in the match was to save Orton from getting booed.
It Orton won over the remaining guys fans would've rejected him so eliminating the most hated man in the company made the crowd very happy.

Also where was Kane? I thought he confirmed that he was in the match and I wouldnt be surprised if WWE called and told him to stay at home because his spot was given to Mark Henry.
Overall this event was a mess and nothing made sense. Owens was made to look weak yet again and I thought being banned from an arena would mean that you would still turn up.
On the defence of the roster I believe that if you work hard all year your entitled to a spot in the rumble whether your Kalisto or any one else. I will say however that more people should've been announced to prevent disappointment for lack of surprises.

The last two Rumble victories (Orton and Trips now) would have been booed if it wasn't for Reigns making it to the end. Here's hoping they don't make this a tradition because they're afraid of 2014/2015 Rumble reactions again

Yeah, taker looked terrible last night. His dye job was really bad, his face looked stretched and smooth with a bad makeup job. He also looked really big (fat)
