Just a little poll guys... I was thinking about how much I liked the R-3 Tech line by Jakks and wondered about a Mattel version...without that ridiculous scoliosis torso, of course. You know the one It would be really awesome to have some current guys with their actual unique bodies, like that Kane and Chris Jericho from the line. It'd have to be only a few people to start with obviously and it may not continue cause of budget issues but I'd still love it. Imagine Cena or HHH with their actual torsos instead of that ugly ridiculous and overly ripped ones(and skinny for those guys tbh)? They finally did it with the recent video games 2K where they finally gave Cena his wide and buff body instead of making him too skinny. (I know how... wierd that sounds but bear with me)

Yeah, I always wished they had more specific torso choices, at least for the mega stars who have tons of figures.

As someone who LOVED the R3 line, I hope Mattel just sticks to what they're doing. The amount of detailed molds Mattel has at their disposal is by far and away superior to whatever Jakks had during any of their runs, let alone R3. When you really break it down, R3 Tech had maybe 15-20 unique wrestlers (only 4-5 different torsos) with tons of repaints and street gear versions of guys.
The only thing Mattel could take away from this run by Jakks is to consider using the articulated fingers. It was really cool for figures to be able to point, keep an open hand or make a fist.

The only thing good abut the r-3 line was the poseable fingers. Therefore, I chose "Who Gives A Crap?"

Why does everyone say R3 figures had their own torsos? Every R3 I owned has the same damn torso except for special characters like Kane, Rikishi etc. Its no different with Jakks RA or Mattel figures. The only difference Ive seen is R3 had finger movement.

If they did it, it'd have to be in tune with the elite line. I'm not collecting everything a third time...

Would I like it if everyone had specific body parts? Yes, will it happen? No, there's no way Mattel would be able make specific torsos for everyone and keep it within their budget. That is impossible. Hell Jakks dropped it after R3 Series 1 or 2 and as it was they normally left the details of the attire plain in the back. As it is Mattel has more torso and arm choices than Jakks did in any of their lines.
