Went into Game looking to pick up Smackdown vs Raw 2011 on PS3, as I really had a craving to play it and haven't played a WWE Game since 2009. I took along the following on PS3 to Trade in; - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Formula 1: Championship Edition - WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008 - Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 - Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 All which I received the massive amount of... £8.70 for. I thought oh well, might as well since I never really play them anyway, and wasn't expecting much for them in the first place. I did it via Store Credit and went to the Shelf to pick up the Game which was only £20.99 Brand New Online, and happened to be £27.99 in Store. I never knew there In Store Prices were different to Online? This annoyed me a fair bit as I would of picked up F1 2011 for £20.99 too, but that too was £27.99 In Store. The bloke then offered me it Pre-Owned for £24.99, so with my £8.70 off I walked away paying just £16.29 which was a fair price... until I've just got home and realised I've made the monumental cock up as the Online Code has obviously already been used! So now I'm going to have to purchase Online Access for the Game, which means I'm going to end up paying more for the Game Pre-Owned and Trading in 5 Games than it would of cost to get it Brand new Online...  |
