Yes it is. I just held them both in my hands at the store. They are exactly the same. I'll upload a pic in a bit. Nobody had an issue with gab stings proportion? Because it looks the same as batb Yeah, I don't remember hearing anyone complain about GAB Sting either. |

I think everyone complained about the proportions of GAB Sting. Head was too big, arms too ripped, torso too big, legs too small, wrong boots...literally the only thing they got right WAS the height

Technically I dont think they're right either. Ill have to go back and look at the match but I always remember Sting wearing boots that had straps on them. Which Mattel released with his first DM...yet completely ignored with all his other figures. Bulldog torso, thicker legs, DM Crow Sting boots, slightly smaller scaled head & smaller arms would have made that figure a figure of the year candidate. |

It's not really an intricate figure at all either, I don't get why they can't get it right. The boots should be the DM crow's, the DM's boots are inaccurate for crow (they should be taller and also have another boot lock on the bottom.) I literally got the gab Sting only because I had to get it for a $40 order. I swapped the torso with Bulldog's and it makes a world of a difference, but it's still not as great as it could of been. I'm hoping Bill listens to us and corrects the parts for surfer Sting and crow Stings, the modern ones also need the Lawyler boots with some slight retooling to fit the calves. Also, I've been curious is this a retooled Wolfpac head or is it new? The expression looks somewhat different but the mouth looks similar. If anyone can please post a pic next to with the Wolfpac or the new basic Sting that uses the same head. |

Christ on a tricycle, I hated Sam with all of my heart. When I re-watched it he wasn't so bad. Only thing is one of the best episodes (the halloween one) is where they dress up like ghostbusters features Sam. Another classic series. The bulimia, the pedo one that ruined (but not killed) Arthur Carlson's career and the one where they go back to their old house. RIP Alan Thicke |

I tend to give Mattel a lot more slack than other members but if you look from the back of the hair to the front of Sting's face, the head scan is huge. Mattel has a few issues with scaling headscans to the correct size lately but it seems like Sting keeps getting the huge head scans. Hopefully a Basic is in the works with the correct size. I wonder if his head size has anything to do with the fact that it's a model off pictures instead of an in-house scan? I believe his first DM and the newest Wolfpac version are closer to average sizes, but both surfer versions are a bit big. This isn't a catch-all for scans though. Macho is obviously not a modern scan and they seem smaller. JYD is the same way. But then the first Luger scan was average sized but his narcissist version was a bit big. |

The west palm beach Walmart off belvedere has all of the sets.
In my infinite haste I had three friends find me one each. I already promised I'd send one to a poster on here who is In Canada and figured I'd see if any other international posters want one. I only need one and while I could have them return it I figured I'd pay it forward. I'll list it in the classifieds. Just looking for retail and Shipping.
If not I'll return the extra I got.

I know I'm a sting apologist but I absolutely think the size of he head was greatly exaggerated in the pics. In person it looks great and seems proportional.
Now the GATB DM sting. That head is off.

Found today in Missouri. I thought Seths hair might be different from pics, but its the same as e33. Passed on them because I have e31/33s.
Bought the Bash set though. Definitely one of my favorite offerings from Mattel.
