WWE WrestleMania 32 – Apr 3, 2016 4:14 pm
**********
WWE’s biggest event of the year, WWE Wrestlemania 32 is finally here emanating from AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. With a year full of injures and story changes predicting how everything will all come down is a bit of a mystery. What is known is that all the wrestlers involved will be looking to prove themselves during a weekend with some of the most exceptional cards in recent memory. It will be a massive show, with around six hours of action between the two pre-shows and the four hour-long main card. Beyond the matches, Fifth Harmony is set to perform "America the Beautiful" and we'll get an intermission/half time show alongside a hall of fame inductees appearance on-stage and something involving Steve Austin, The Rock, Mick Foley, and Shawn Michaels. U.S. Champion Kalisto vs. Ryback Kalisto scored the pin with a drop toe hold into the exposed turnbuckle and then the Salida del Sol Ryback took most of the match doing power spots. It felt more like a dark match, It was a basic match. Kalisto didn't do any dives and Ryback did mostly basic power stuff in a slower paced match. Everything they did was fine. The stadium was pretty empty because there were problems getting people into the building.
- They are very clearly announcing a number bigger than 100,000 as Renee Young used "more than 100,000" in the intro. The Total Divas (Brie Bella, Paige, Natalya, Alicia Fox and Eva Marie) vs. B.A.D. & Blonde (Lana, Summer Rae, Naomi, Emma and Tamina) Team Total Divas won when Brie used the Yes lock on Naomi. After the match, Nikki Bella came out to celebrate with Team Total Divas. She was still wearing a neck brace. They teased Brie losing when Lana shoved her off the top rope and she caught her neck. Match was fine. All the women traded finishes. They did a long commercial break in the middle of the match. The crowed booed Eva Marie a lot but she did one move, the sliced bread, and that was really it. Lana didn't do much but kicks but she has goog presence in the ring. People reacted when she tagged in. It wasn't rushed at all.
- The place is filling up now. Mauro Ranallo used "more than 100,000" multiple times so it's a lock now.
- Lita is doing an interview. She talked about about women of the past, only mentioning the women in the WWE Hall of Fame, they are the only ones who paved the way in history. Lita talked about the women's match later in the show. Banks and Lynch both got pretty equal reactions and Charlotte was cheered. She said they are so much more than Divas, they are superstars. The showed the new belt and said the winner becomes the first ever WWE women's championship. I know it was called the women's title for decades historically but it's the first one ever now. Ranallo talked about Ronda Rousey. The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) vs. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) Short match ending when Jey pinned Devon with a superkick. It sounded like the crowd was more into the Dudleys and booed the Usos. After the match the Dudleys went to get the tables with the announcers calling them hypocrites. However when they went for the double team power bomb, the Usos reversed, and both delivered superkicks. Jey put Devon through a table and Jimmy did it to Bubba both with splashes off the top rope.
- I'm guessing we'll have a 13,000 to 15,000 exaggeration of the real number.
The main show is officially about to kick off. Ladder Match: Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens vs. The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Zack Ryder vs. Sami Zayn vs. Sin Cara vs. Stardust Zack Ryder shoved Miz off the ladder and celebrated with his father in the ring. Nice story here of giving a guy the title to someone they had beaten into the ground, espeically sihnce Ryder wasn't even originally scheduled for the match. This was an excellent match. Zayn and Owens were the stars with Zayn giving Owens a half nelson German suplex onto a ladder. Owens sold it like he was dead and never got up. So many super spots here. Zayn did a dive through a set up ladder onto several guys on the floor and then went from the floor with his dive through the ropes into the ring and out into the tornado DDT on the floor.
Sin Cara was knocked off the top of the ladder by Owens into a splash on Stardust on a ladder bridge with the ladder breaking. Ziggler did an elbow off the near top of the ladder on Miz. Zayn knocked Sin Cara off the ladder and he springboarded off the top rope with a flip dive onto everyone. Those were just some of the many highlights. A.J. Styles vs. Chris Jericho Jericho won the match with the codebreaker after he shoved the ref in the way and Styles had to redirect his springboard forearm and got caught. Sryles got near falls with the Styles clash and later the springboard 450, and then went for the phenomenal forearm and Jericho caught him withthe codebreaker. It was rough in spots as they were doing so many counters out of usual spots. They made it the theme of the match. The near falls got over and Jericho does a great job with selling near submissions. Very good.
- Maria Menounos interviweed Zack Ryder who said all he wanted to do was hear his music at WrestleMania and this was the greatest moment of his life. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. League of Nations - Non-Title The New Day came out in new outfits with a giant cereal box thaw as tipped over and giant cereal kernels came out. Crowd was super hot the for the New Day. This ended up being a three-on-three as Barrett didn't wrestle. The finish saw Barrett from the outisde hit the bull hammer on Woods and then Sheamus pinned him with the Brogue kick. The match was okay, they kept it moving but they were just there to set the stage for the post-match.
And Then... The win by the League was to set up the run-in, plus it also keeps the League in the tag title picture I guess. Shawn Michaels was out first. Michaels was in good shape. Mick Foley then came out. Steve Austin was next out. Austin got easily the biggest pop so far. They came to the ring. Crowd was on fire for this segment. New Day pulled Barrett to the floor. So it was three on three. Foley was pounding on Sheamus. Austin was putting the boots to Rusev. Foley plled out the socko on Sheamus. Michaels superkicked Del Rio. Austin gave Rusev the stunner. Rusev took it great. Then Barrett came in and took the superkick, the socko claw and the stunner. Austin danced with Woods and then gave Woods the stunner. This got by far the biggest reaction of the show when Austin was celebrating with the beer. Street Fight: Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose Good match. The story of the match was Lesnar continually threw German suplexes and Ambrose would get weapons and nail Lesnar with them. He used a kendo stick for a while, a fire extinguisher, tons of chairs. Ambrose DDT'd Lesnar on the chair for a good near fall. The finish was Lesnar ducking a shot with the barbed wire bat and then used an F-5 on the chair. Clean win, more than you'd think. Ambrose did a great job and he was launched with one of the 13 or so suplexes, mostly German suplexes, a belly to belly on the floor and a belly to belly superplex. The one thing is that it never felt like Ambrose could win the way it was booked, and he didn't win. The big news was no Wyatts at all here. - Ric Flair was with Zack Ryder trying to teach him to say Whoo the right way. It was actually a Snickers commercial and when Ryder ate the snickers bar he turned into Charlotte who did Whoo the right way.
- Now it's the Hall of Fame segment. Howard Finkel did the intros. Big Bossman, like last night, was represented by his three daughters. Sting got a big entrance with a video and pointed to everyone. Divas Champion Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks They are positioning this strong with a nice video package to build the match after showing the Lita segment once again. They are giving them every shot with the positioning and following the Hall of Fame segment instead of a killer match. Sasha Banks came out with Snoop Dogg and his group singing her entrance. Sasha wore gear in tribute to Eddy Guerrero. Charlotte came out with a robe made from the Ric Flair robe in his match in Orlando against Shawn Michaels. Very good match here. They went 16:00 and did spot afer spot, at times it seemed like they did too much too fast. They tried to make it the beginning of a new era. Charlotte retained with the figure eight on Lynch as Ric Flair kept Banks from breaking it up. Lots of really great stuff here. Charlotte did a moonsault off the top to the floor on both which popped the crowd big. Banks did a tope with a last second flip that was amazing body control. All kinds of pins and submissions with the third person breaking it up. The crowd did big "Yes" chants when Lynch nailed Ric Flair with a tope.
This did feel like one of the NXT women's title matches, not the best NXT women's title match but felt like one of the better ones.
- There is 90 minutes left for three matches and the Rock segment. Hell In A Cell - Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon - Wrestlemania Career vs. RAW Control Undertaker won a 30:00 match with a tombstone piledriver after Shane McMahon came off the top of the cell with an elbow drop through a table and Undertaker moved. The table was gimmicke dbut ti was still a legit 15 or more feet from the top. A lot of the match wasn;t good but the move made it memorable. McMahon also did a coast to coast dropkick using the chair. Shane was selling the injuries at the end big. He went out on a stretcher. The table was gimmicked that he landed on but still that was a crazy fall. Before that Shane had the choke on him while on a platform and Undertaker while choked jumped off and they both crashed through the table. Shane kept hitting Undertaker with monitors and a tool box to lay him out before the big spot. The match was slow paced but they set it up well. It really wasn't good when they were in the cell, but Shane used bolt cutters to loosen the side of the cage and then Undertaker tackled him and the side of the cage collapsed. Shane also escaped the Hell's Gate and turned it into a sharpshooter. He used a triangle on Undertaker. It was hard at times to buy Shane's offense on Taker in spots but in the end the big stunts made the match. Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Baron Corbin won, throwing out Kane as Kane was throwing out Bo Dallas and Darren Young. Your typical Battle Royal except the big pop for Shaquile O'Neal making his debut. They had Show and O'Neal playing monsters throwing Sandow and Fandango out before everyone threw both out. Shaq looked like a monster even next to Show. Tatanka and DDP were the surprises. DDP gave Viktor the diamond cutter and threw him out. Konnor threw out Page. Tatanka was really heavy but the crowd liked and booed when he was out. Corbin threw Tatanka out. The rest were the roster guys not on the show. At least they used the Battle Royal to make a new star, but of all the guys in NXT to put over strong right now, he's not the one I'd have picked.
- They had the Cowboys cheerleaders out for a dance. The Rock Returns The Rock came out with a giant flamethrower. He blew it and lit up a giant Rock stage setting. Rock showed his biceps to one of hte cheerleaders as he went to the ring. His music played a long time before he started talking. Then he paused for a long time. Finally the Rock came back to Dallas. He put over the cheerleaders. He said the people are so happy they're going home and they're going to make babies tonight so nine months there will be a lot of Rock babies. The crowd sang along with him. He announced records are made to be broken. He announced the crowd was a new record. The graphic said 101,763 a new WrestleMania record. The record itself is legit even if the number isn't. His music then played. He was about to do an interview when the Wyatts came out. Wyatt started talking and introduced himself to Rock. They all got on the apron. Wyatt said I chose you because you represent success, you represent greatness, you represent a lie. This is not your moment. This is my moment. I'm going to eviscerate you on the grandest stage of them all. Rock started talking and made fun of them. Said to Rowan, clearly your parents are related. Said Strowman looks like he's been breast fad until he was 26 years old. Rock told Bray that he's got the ability and the charisma so this segment is to put Wyatt over. Said he's revolutionary and a leader. Rock made some junks about the eater of words or the eater of hot pockets. Wyatt said you have no idea who you are fooling with. Rock took off his shirt. Rock wanted a match. He challenged Wyatt or the duck dynasty bitches. He had his trunks underneath. The crowd went crazy. They rang the bell and Rock used a Rock bottom and pinned Rowan in seven seconds. They all surrounded him when John Cena came out. They bounced them around. Rock used a Rock bottom on Strowman. Cena supelxed and gave Rowan a five knuckle shuffle. Attitude Adjustment on Rowan. Rock used a spinebuster and people's elbow on Wyatt. WWE Champion HHH vs. Roman Reigns Long match ending with Reigns using two Superman punches and then ducked a sledge hammer spot and hit a spear for the pin. They did a big celebration like you had face winner even though the crowd wasn't cheering him although they didn't boo him as bad at the finish as they did in most of the match. There was no hint of a turn at the end of the match although early in the match Reigns, with his new outfit, kind of felt heelish. It was a good match, but not great. HHH did a lot more wrestling than usual using submission moves like a Fujiwara armbar and armbar to set up a one arm power bomb spot by Reigns.
At times the crowd was cheering for Sami Zayn, Nakamura and Bayley. Reigns used a spear on him through the barricade for one big spot. Stephanie was at ringside in an outfit like she was a backup singer in an 80s band. Reigns hit the spear the first time but Stephanie pulled the ref out of the ring. Stephanie got in the ring to argue with the ref. Reigns went to spear HHH, who moved and nailed Stephanie good. HHH hit the pedigree but Reigns kicked out. Stephanie sold it on the floor but handed him the sledge hammer but Reigns used the Superman punches before the ducking the sledge hammer spot and hitting the spear for the pin.
We'll have a lot more later tonight on Wrestling Observer Radio when we do our audio show with Bryan (live) and myself from the WWE Network version.

Daily Update: WrestleMania 32 fallout; Undertaker done, again? By Dave Meltzer | @davemeltzerwon | Apr 4, 2016 2:21 pm Twitter Facebook Google+ WrestleMania 32 Fallout Undertaker was selling people that last night was his final match, even though he's booked in tag matches on the European tour. We'll try and get more clarification on that but it is said that's why he left his gloves in the ring. It was also noted that many years after WrestleMania he says it's his last match and comes back the next year. The number of people in the building legitimately was 97,769, or more than the 93,000 plus that was believed to have been the total last night. I'm not sure how many events have claimed 100,000 in the stadium but legitimately there have only been a few as this was one of the largest legitimate crowds in the history of AT&T Stadium (wrestling is far from the only people who exaggerate numbers). WWE announced 101,763 as the attendance and a $17.3 million gate. The gate is either accurate or very close to it. Lots of standing room tickets were sold the day of the show and they used a smaller stage so opened up a lot of seating in the last week. The walkup was huge as building officials were expecting 89,000 the day of the show. As noted, there were all kinds of problems getting into the stadium last night because of the wireless being down and they couldn't scan tickets. A lot of people who came early missed one to three matches but the place was packed by the time of the PPV.
It appears based on odds swings that most of the finishes were finalized on Saturday, at least when it came to the ladder match with all the betting on Zack Ryder. Charlotte winning was known before the show, but it had changed at one point from Sasha Banks.
No serious injuries at last night's show, even though there were some serious injury risks. Google searches for WrestleMania were 2 million, which would be above anything in UFC except a Ronda Rousey or Conor McGregor headlined show. It was second yesterday behind Walking Dead searches. Shane McMahon was the most searched individual with 200,000. MONDAY NEWS UPDATE Bryan and I will be back tonight talking Raw, WrestleMania, network numbers and other news on Wrestling Observer radio. Questions for the show can be sent tomailbag@wrestlingobserver.com For today, please limit questions to items related to WrestleMania or current WWE and the network number and network business conference. We've got a full rundown of the network subscriber numbers announced today by WWE. For those looking negatively, the drop in domestic paid vs. the same period last year is misleading for a number of reasons. Most people were expecting 1.5 to 1.7 million paid. The stock has dropped from well above $18 to $16.38 since the announcement was made. There was going to be some drop unless the paid was above 1.7 million. The positive is profitability in 2016 looks to be in the same range the company was pre-network, and that hasn't been the case since 2010 when they started on the project. Though, the network was all about long-term, and long-term it will be successful, just a little slower than they expected. As far as debuts go, there are lots of rumors going around such as Enzo, Cass, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson. All are supposed to start on the main roster soon. The only thing notable is that Finn Balor was reported to have flown home from Dallas earlier today. Dwayne Johnson is not going to be on the show as he's in the middle of filming "Baywatch" and only had a limited time he could be gone.Brie Bella is supposed to retire tonight, although it appears last night may have been her final match.

Because the test was after the 12/12 fight (even though he was likely using the supplement at the time of the fight where he won a controversial decision over Jacare Souza), the result of that fight wasn't overturned. Vince repeated that Shane failed last night to gain 100% control of RAW but Shane is the only one of his children to have made it to RAW tonight which got a pop from the crowd and therefore out of respect for Shane’s guts last night, Mr. McMahon was willing to put Shane in charge of RAW & SMACK DOWN this week…
Shane McMahon slowly limped out on to the stage, feeling the effects of last night’s beating. McMahon started by apologising to the fans for failing to beat The Undertaker last night but promised to make up for it by putting on a great show tonight and this Thursday on SMACK DOWN. Shane revealed he made tonight’s Main Event between AJ Styles & Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens plus the WWE Tag Team championship match which would be up next. Sheamus left the ring and he and Rusev stared at each other for a few seconds before Rusev entered the ring, stomped on Barrett’s back and locked the Englishman in his Accolade! Rusev wouldn’t release the hold and had to be pulled from Barrett by WWE Officials, it seems like tonight we have witnessed the end of the League of Nations.
- BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW| WWE Interviewer, Renee Young caught up with Alberto Del Rio to get his thoughts on what has just happened but Del Rio snapped at Renee telling her to shut up! Del Rio has allowed himself to be tamed these last few months but no more, Del Rio needs to remind everyone of who he is and just what he is capable of!

- INTERVIEW| New WWE World Heavyweight champion, Roman Reigns joined Renee Young in the ring to discuss his victory over Triple H last night, finally ending his rivalry with the Authority but the crowd were all over Reigns not even letting Reigns talk. Reigns took the microphone from Young and asked her to leave saying this was no place for a lady. Reigns smiled at the crowd which only riled them up more before telling them he’s not a good guy, he’s not a bad guy but he is ‘THE GUY!’ Reigns seemed to enjoy sticking it to the crowd. Reigns told the crowd to hush because they may want to hear what he has to say now he’s finally put down Triple H because the ‘Big Dog’ has some unfinished business he needs to take care of so right now, Reigns is calling out Brock Lesnar! Reigns knows Brock isn’t here tonight and Reigns doesn’t care when, he is using his stroke as the WWE champion and he wants the match anytime, anywhere…
Dean Ambrose’ music cut off Reigns and Reigns’ brother from the Shield, Ambrose stormed down the ramp and entered the ring. The ‘Lunatic Fringe’ came up short against Lesnar last night at WWE WrestleMania. Ambrose asked Reigns what he was doing? Reigns seemed confused, before Ambrose told Reigns that Lesnar was his fight but Reigns cut Ambrose off to tell him he had his fight last night and Dean couldn’t get the job done while Reigns never got to complete the job because of their old buddy Seth Rollins! Ambrose didn’t like Reigns mentioning Ambrose failing. Ambrose got in Reigns face which the crowd enjoyed and again told Reigns that Brock was his fight and after he’s beat Lesnar, Ambrose is coming for that – pointing at Reigns’ WWE title! Which the crowd wanted to see. Reigns chuckled at Ambrose’ words before telling Ambrose if he wants a shot he’ll give him a shot, saying it’s the least he could do for his brother! Ambrose again was frustrated with Reigns and had to pace the ring before talking and telling Reigns that he doesn’t want a hand out, he wants to earn the shot and when Ambrose does he would beat Reigns to become the new WWE World Heavyweight champion. Reigns had a counter again straight away, saying like Ambrose did at the Survivor Series or Fastlane knowing that he beat Ambrose on both occasions. Ambrose tossed his microphone down before just staring at Reigns who of mic was telling Ambrose he was just playing but Ambrose rolled out of the ring and walked out on the new WWE World Heavyweight champion, Roman Reigns…

Baron Corbin made a huge statement last night not only making his WWE debut at WWE WrestleMania but also winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and Corbin impressed again tonight making relatively short work of Cara pinning him following his End of Days. RESULT| BARON CORBIN BEAT SIN CARA VIA PIN FALL
- BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW| Renee Young was now in the office of Shane McMahon and McMahon said he found the confrontation moments ago between Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns to be very interesting, first off Dean Ambrose is right you should have to earn the right to challenge for any WWE championship and that is why next week live on RAW whether Shane is in charge or not he is booking a Gold Rush tournament an 8 man, single elimination, one night tournament where the winner would go on to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at WWE Payback live on the WWE Network! McMahon revealed he would announce the 8 participants this Thursday on SMACK DOWN! McMahon also announced a change to tonight’s scheduled Main Event, saying if there is no tension between Reigns & Ambrose they can prove it tonight when they team up to take on AJ Styles & Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens in a tag team triple threat match! Zayn got into the WWE before him, Zayn became the NXT champion before him, Zayn eliminated him from the Royal Rumble and last night his former best friend, the best man at his wedding cost him his WWE Intercontinental championship! Owens cannot go on, he needs to end Sami Zayn once and for all because his career depends on it!
- INTERVIEW| Dolph Ziggler was out in the ring not dressed to compete but with a microphone in hand. Ziggler brought up how a few years ago the night after WrestleMania he cashed in a Money in the Bank briefcase to become the new World Heavyweight champion and how it was the happiest night of his career well tonight ranks high up on the list too because last night he got to watch as his best friend in this business Zack Ryder finally got to prove everyone wrong when he shocked the world and won the 7 man Ladder match to become the new WWE Intercontinental champion. Ziggler called Ryder out who came out to a big ovation, you could see Ryder loved showing off the WWE Intercontinental title. Ryder & Ziggler embraced once Ryder made his way into the ring. Ziggler noted how before last night Ryder had never heard his ring music at WrestleMania let alone won a match and now he’s standing here the WWE Intercontinental champion. Ziggler pointed out Ryder’s family at ringside especially Ryder’s Dad and his NXT tag team partner Mojo Rawley before Ziggler and Ryder could say anymore they were interrupted by The Miz…
Miz wearing a nice suite said Ryder and Ziggler were making him sick. Miz should be the WWE Intercontinental champion claiming Ryder stole the title from his grip last night and he should be out here tonight taking in everyone’s applause. Miz told Ryder he was a disgrace to the WWE Intercontinental title before telling Ziggler he was an even bigger disgrace, asking Ziggler how far had his career fell that now he has to get off on other people’s success! You were a former World champion! You saved the WWE from the Authority at one point, look at you now you’re pathetic! Ryder & Ziggler were trying to reassure the other of mic when Miz informed Ryder that he would be taking the WWE Intercontinental title from him at some point in the future but now he’s going to watch as they getting the beating they deserve, just like that Ryder & Ziggler were jumped from behind by the Ascension & Stardust. They were beating down Ryder & Ziggler when The Miz made his way down to the ring to join in but not until he had took his jacket, his watch off etc. but before Miz could join in the beating Mojo Rawley got into the ring and the Miz & Stardust managed to retreat as Rawley took out Konor with a tackle while Ziggler caught Vikto with a super kick before Ryder hit his Rough Ryder. Dolph Ziggler, Mojo Rawley and the new WWE Intercontinental champion, Zack Ryder stood tall as Stardust & the Miz backed up the ramp.

RESULT| KALISTO & USO’S BEAT RYBACK & DUDLEY BOYZ VIA PIN FALL
- POST MATCH| Dudley Boyz stayed at ringside complaining about the loss to the match official when the music of Enzo Amore & Big Cass from NXT hit to a huge reaction. Enzo & Cass ran out on the stage and Enzo had a microphone in hand but Enzo said there would be plenty of time for them to run their mouths, so tonight they were going to crack some skulls so Cass & Enzo made their way into the ring and it wasn’t long before Big Cass cleared the ring of the former multi time WWE Tag Team champions, the Dudley Boyz! The crowd were hot for Enzo & Big Cass!
- THURSDAY 7TH APRIL 2016| WWE SMACK DOWN| DOLPH ZIGGLER & ZACK RYDER V STARDUST & THE MIZ! Plus Shane McMahon would announce the 8 men in next week’s Gold Rush one night tournament where the winner would go on to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at WWE Payback!
- MATCH 6| BECKY LYNCH V EMMA| Good short match, would be nice to see these two girls go at it again. Becky like Sasha Banks earlier tonight was out to rebound to last night’s loss and like Sasha, Becky rebounded well also picking up the victory via tap out after Becky caught Emma in her disarmer. RESULT| BECKY LYNCH BEAT EMMA VIA TAP OUT
- POST MATCH| Ric Flair made his way out and ordered Becky Lynch to get out of the ring, Becky wanted to get her hands on Ric as he helped his daughter Charlotte become the WWE Women’s champion last night but the match official convinced Becky Lynch to leave…

Charlotte made her way out wearing the new WWE Women’s title proudly around her waist before joining her Father the legendary Ric Flair in the middle of the ring. Ric’s so proud of his daughter. After a kiss, Ric handed his daughter the microphone and stood back in the corner. Charlotte asked the crowd to stand up and bow to their WWE Women’s champion! Charlotte made history last night and WWE WrestleMania 32 will always be remembered as the night Charlotte was crowned the queen of the WWE! Charlotte asked who from the WWE Women’s Division could match up to her, not Sasha Banks, not Becky Lynch, not Brie Bella because instead of stepping up to the challenge – Brie has decided to walk away and make babies with her loser of a husband, Daniel Bryan, not Nikki Bella because Charlotte would break her leg to go with her broken neck! Charlotte is the standard now, she’s at a whole new level and she challenged the WWE Women’s champion to come join her up here because if they don’t and they won’t she, the Queen of the WWE will rule the WWE Women’s Division for many years to come, Woo!
- BACKSTAGE| Mr. McMahon entered Shane McMahon’s office and begrudgingly told Shane that he thinks Shane has done a good job tonight and mentioned he was looking forward to tonight’s Main Event before telling Shane that he had just got off the phone with Stephanie’s doctor and he informed Vince that Stephanie would not be returning next week, so next week Vince was putting Shane in charge again. Shane nodded in approval before telling his Dad to catch tonight’s Main Event because he has one more surprised lined up…
- MATCH 7| MAIN EVENT| TRIPLE THREAT| AJ STYLES & SAMI ZAYN V DEAN AMBROSE & ROMAN REIGNS V CHRIS JERICHO & KEVIN OWENS| Great Main Event. Crowd were all over Reigns again. Ambrose was clearly having difficulty dealing with his loss to Brock Lesnar and while there didn’t seem to be much communication between himself and Reigns they were working fine together. Zayn & Owens and AJ & Jericho continued their rivalries and as it all broke down towards the end AJ had Jericho beat following his Phenomenal forearm only to turn into a Pop Up power bomb from Owens who was then hit by a Hell’uva kick from Sami Zayn, again Zayn costing Owens but Reigns ran through Zayn with a Spear which the crowd hated for the victory. RESULT| DEAN AMBROSE & ROMAN REIGNS BEAT AJ STYLES & SAMI ZAYN AND CHRIS JERICHO & KEVIN OWENS
- POST MATCH| Roman Reigns had his hand raised in victory much to the dismay of the crowd as Dean Ambrose watched his partner celebrate ignoring Reigns pleas for Ambrose to join in. Reigns climbed up on the middle rope with his WWE title when Ambrose seemed to snap and got into position to drop Reigns when he turned around to the delight of the crowd when Cesaro entered the ring and threw Ambrose into the air before smashing the Lunatic with a European Uppercut! Cesaro has returned…
Crowd were going mental as Roman Reigns went for Cesaro not knowing Ambrose was seemingly intent on attacking him but Cesaro swept Reigns legs and to a monstrous ovation Cesaro gave Roman Reigns the Cesaro swing time and time again, the crowd were loving it before Cesaro finally swung Reigns across the ring. Crowd were going mental as Dean Ambrose was down outside of the ring, Roman Reigns was down inside the ring and the returning Cesaro was standing tall on the ropes as RAW went off the air!

- MATCH 1| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| 1ST ROUND| SAMI ZAYN V CHRIS JERICHO| Sami Zayn the ‘Underdog from the Underground’ is a former NXT champion but since joining the WWE Roster on a full time basis, Zayn has continued his rivalry with his former best friend Kevin Owens but focusing on Owens has arguably slowed down Zayn’s progress as his war with Owens is taking up all of his time. Jericho a former World champion and true great of the game is coming of a huge victory at WWE WrestleMania 32 beating AJ Styles proving to any of his doubters that he is as good as ever. Very strong match to kick off the tournament with both men pulling out all stops, Zayn made the ropes when caught in the Walls of Jericho and scored a couple of near falls from a flying cross body and Blue Thunder Bomb but ultimately got caught by Jericho’s Codebreaker which allowed Y2J to advance to the Semi Finals. RESULT| CHRIS JERICHO BEAT SAMI ZAYN VIA PIN FALL

- PRE-MATCH INTERVIEW| WWE Reporter, Renee Young spoke with AJ Styles backstage before he headed out for his match with Kevin Owens. AJ told Young that at WrestleMania, he came up short but that doesn’t mean he can’t hang here in the WWE, that he can’t handle the pressure of being in the WWE – it just means he got caught and he hates the fact that Chris Jericho will forever be able to have that over AJ Styles but AJ knows how to respond, how to shut Jericho’s mouth and that is by winning tonight’s tournament and going on to WWE Payback to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight championship…
- ANNOUNCERS| Chris Jericho on commentary during the match told the announcers that AJ Styles was wrong. AJ lost at WrestleMania because AJ cannot handle the pressure of being here. AJ believed all the “stupid idiots” on the internet that called AJ the best wrestler in the world but Jericho proved that theory to be wrong on the biggest stage!
- MATCH 2| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| 1ST ROUND| AJ STYLES V KEVIN OWENS| Regardless of what Chris Jericho says, AJ Styles who has beaten Jericho in recent months is a great asset to the WWE Roster and has all the ability to win tonight’s tournament. Cole called AJ Styles V Roman Reigns a dream match but Jericho was quick to dismiss the idea of that match ever taking place. Owens who lost the WWE Intercontinental title at WrestleMania in the 7 man Ladder match is blaming Sami Zayn for the loss but needs to focus on AJ tonight. Another very good match between two of the hottest stars in the business, it had a mixture of everything it was hard hitting at times, high flying at others. Owens almost had it following a big Frog splash, while AJ came close himself following his Pele kick and springboard 450 splash. AJ wanted his Styles Clash when Jericho got involved first distracting the match official by getting on the ring apron then spitting water in AJ’s face which allowed Owens to rock AJ with a super kick before planting him with his Pop Up power bomb for the victory! RESULT| KEVIN OWENS BEAT AJ STYLES VIA PIN FALL
- POST MATCH| Chris Jericho entered the ring and stood over AJ Styles calling AJ a loser and failure before striking a pose until Kevin Owens interrupted, spinning Jericho around and telling Jericho he would be winning tonight’s tournament and going on to face Roman Reigns at WWE Payback!
- HIGHLIGHTS| Footage from the end of RAW last week was shown and the return of Cesaro who took out Dean Ambrose before nailing Roman Reigns with his Cesaro Swing to the delight of the crowd. On SMACK DOWN last week before he beat Ryback in the Main Event, Cesaro explained that on RAW he grabbed the brass ring!
- BACKSTAGE| Cesaro was backstage waiting to come out for his Gold Rush tournament match against The Miz when Cesaro was spun around with force by Roman Reigns! Reigns and Cesaro stood face to face with Reigns telling Cesaro that he should drop him right here but that’s not Reigns style and Reigns can even respect Cesaro’s actions a little but Reigns warned telling Cesaro that win or lose tonight the ‘Big Dog’ is coming for him! Cesaro put his shades on, smirked at Reigns and told him he would see him at WWE Payback!
- MATCH 3| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| 1ST ROUND| CESARO V THE MIZ| the Miz pinned Dolph Ziggler to earn the right to compete in tonight’s tournament during a tag match which also included Stardust and the new WWE Intercontinental champion, Zack Ryder. The Miz wants the first shot at Ryder’s title believing Ryder stole the victory from him at WrestleMania. Cesaro looked good in his return match against Ryback on SMACK DOWN and despite his left shoulder still being taped, Cesaro looked good again tonight controlling the match for the most part and ended up picking up the victory after blocking Miz’ Skull Crushing Finale taking him down with his Cesaro Swing and locking in the Sharpshooter for the tap out victory. RESULT| CESARO BEAT THE MIZ VIA TAP OUT
- TONIGHT| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| SEMI FINALS| CESARO V KEVIN OWENS!
- BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW| WWE Interviewer, Renee Young was with Sami Zayn following Zayn’s defeat to Chris Jericho earlier tonight. Sami was clearly down about the loss. Zayn told Young that he’s not happy with how his WWE career is going so far, while he’s been making Kevin Owens’ life hell and Zayn will never get bored of doing that it’s not doing anything for his career as he’s suffering too and maybe it’s time for things to come to an end between him and Owens and hopefully ASAP!
- HIGHLIGHTS| Footage was shown from last week on RAW when Dean Ambrose confronted Roman Reigns revealed that he wants to face Brock Lesnar. There was clearly tension between Ambrose & Reigns, with Ambrose saying Lesnar was his fight something Reigns tried mocking Ambrose over and after Ambrose said he was coming for the WWE title, Reigns offered Ambrose a WWE title match but Ambrose got offended by Reigns offering him a “hand out”, saying he would earn his title shot. Later in the night Reigns said there was no issues between him and his former Shield brother and in the Main Event that seemed to be true when Ambrose & Reigns were victorious but there was a moment before Cesaro struck that it appeared that Ambrose was lining up the WWE World Heavyweight champion!
- PRE-MATCH INTERVIEW| Dean Ambrose was with WWE Reporter, Tom Phillips and Ambrose admitted he was a bit emotional last week following his loss to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and everything was fine between himself and Roman Reigns so much so that Ambrose isn’t going to acknowledge the rumours anymore, tonight was about Ambrose winning the Gold Rush tournament and earning the right to become the top contender to the WWE World Heavyweight championship.
- MATCH 4| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| SEMI FINALS| DEAN AMBROSE V SHEAMUS| Last week we saw the League of Nations break up when Alberto Del Rio, Rusev & Sheamus all laid out King Barrett before going their separate ways. Later in the night backstage Sheamus made it clear to Shane McMahon that he is 100% in camp Stephanie. On SMACK DOWN the former WWE World Heavyweight champion beat the current WWE United States champion, Kalisto to earn his place in tonight’s tournament. Very entertaining, hard hitting and hard fought match between the two men, Sheamus tore off Ambrose vest before nailing him with a number of stiff forearms. Both men pulled out their big moves, Irish Cloverleaf and White Noise from Sheamus while Ambrose caught Sheamus with his rebound clothesline and top rope elbow drop. Sheamus blocked Dirty Deeds by pushing Ambrose off and looked for his Brogue kick but Ambrose avoided and rolled Sheamus up the victory. RESULT| DEAN AMBROSE BEAT SHEAMUS VIA PIN FALL
- TONIGHT| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| SEMI FINALS| DEAN AMBROSE V CHRIS JERICHO!

- PRE-MATCH INTERVIEW| Renee Young was now standing by with Becky Lynch, Paige & Sasha Banks – they didn’t have long to talk due to being interrupted by their opponents tonight (Emma, Naomi & Natalya) but they all made it clear they want the first shot at Charlotte but Natalya after interrupting warned the 3 and everyone else not to overlook them especially her as she is a Hart and she’s bred for greatness!
- THURSDAY 14TH APRIL 2016| SMACK DOWN| WWE WOMENS CHAMPION CHARLOTTE WILL BE IN ACTION!
- MATCH 5| 6 PERSON TAG| BECKY LYNCH, PAIGE & SASHA BANKS V EMMA, NAOMI & NATALYA| Becky, Paige & Sasha were all victorious in singles competition last week against Emma, Natalya & Naomi respectively but tonight was even tougher as the competition in the WWE Women’s division heats up, plus there were clearly trust issues between Becky, Paige & Sasha and in the end that came back to haunt the team after a miscommunication between Paige & Sasha nearly caused them to come to blows before Emma pushed Sasha into Paige knocking the ‘Anti-Diva’ from the ring before rolling up Sasha for the 3 count. Big victory for Emma but a setback for ‘The Boss’. RESULT| EMMA, NAOMI & NATALYA BEAT BECKY LYNCH, PAIGE & SASHA BANKS VIA PIN FALL
- POST MATCH| Sasha sat in the ring gutted as was Becky Lynch at ringside. Paige walked off as Emma, Natalya & Naomi celebrated their eye catching victory.
- BACKSTAGE| Shane McMahon was shown watching the Women’s match on a monitor backstage before noting something down on a note pad and saying “SMACK DOWN”, what Shane McMahon got planned?
- HIGHLIGHTS| EARLIER TONIGHT| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| 1ST ROUND| KEVIN OWENS BEAT AJ STYLES VIA PIN FALL…
- HIGHLIGHTS| EARLIER TONIGHT| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| 1ST ROUND| CESARO BEAT THE MIZ VIA TAP OUT…
- MATCH 6| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| SEMI FINALS| CESARO V KEVIN OWENS| Owens jumped Cesaro as soon as he entered the ring, trying to get an advantage over Cesaro which JBL called smart, Owens quickly knocked Cesaro to ringside and ran Cesaro taped shoulder first into the ring steps. Match official finally regained order and after talking with Cesaro agreed to let the match go ahead. Owens worked on Cesaro’s shoulder throughout. Gold Rush tournament delivered some great matches and this was another, maybe the best of the bunch. Owens scored with two cannon balls in the corner for a near fall before Cesaro responded with his Uppercut train and a springboard uppercut. Crowd were loving the match. Owens unlike The Miz survived the Sharpshooter making it to the ropes, to break the hold. Later in the match Owens went looking for his apron bomb but Cesaro countered with a back body drop on the hard floor and rolled back into the ring before the count of 10, advancing to the finals via a count out! RESULT| CESARO BEAT KEVIN OWENS VIA COUNT OUT
- POST MATCH| Kevin Owens was livid outside of the ring as he watched Cesaro have his hand raised in victory, it seemed like Owens was going to re-enter the ring when Sami Zayn ran to ringside and pulled Owens down from the apron before the two of them started exchanging right hands until a number of WWE staff made their way to ringside and managed to split Zayn and Owens up. Cesaro was left standing tall in the ring motioning that he was one victory away from challenging for the WWE World Heavyweight title at WWE Payback!
- BACKSTAGE| WWE World Heavyweight champion, Roman Reigns was shown in discussion with Shane McMahon until McMahon received a phone call and had to step away…
- MATCH 7| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| SEMI FINALS| DEAN AMBROSE V CHRIS JERICHO| Ambrose was wearing a new shirt for this match after his battle with Sheamus earlier. Michael Cole noted how AJ Styles had been banned from ringside for this match following what happened with Jericho and AJ earlier tonight. Good match with Jericho getting more arrogant the more he got in control, Cole noted how even Jericho’s ego was out of control due to his recent victories over AJ & Zayn. Wasn’t all Jericho, it was back and forth with Ambrose giving it his all. Ambrose feels like he has a big point to prove after losing to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. JBL also noted how Ambrose is the only member of the Shield never to have been WWE World Heavyweight champion but Ambrose became a step closer to changing that after countering Jericho’s Code breaker and planting him with Dirty Deeds for the victory. RESULT| DEAN AMBROSE BEAT CHRIS JERICHO VIA PIN FALL

Dolph Ziggler broke up Stardust & Ascension’s dominance and actually eliminated all three men before Ziggler was surprisingly dumped over by his friend Zack Ryder. Ziggler laughed it off at first but when he was leaving you could see that Ziggler was clearly shocked by Ryder’s actions. Apollo went on to eliminate all members of the Social Outcasts, while Kalisto eliminated rival Ryback. - MATCH 9| MAIN EVENT| GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT| FINALS| CESARO V DEAN AMBROSE| Big match feel in the arena and the match was given the big match introduction. Cesaro beat The Miz & Kevin Owens to advance to the finals while Dean Ambrose overcame Sheamus & Chris Jericho. Reigns was clearly supporting Ambrose throughout the match. Ambrose was all over Cesaro to begin with after Cesaro dropped Ambrose last week and Ambrose wasn’t shy in targeting Cesaro’s shoulder when the chance arose. Cesaro came back and absolutely nailed Ambrose with a sick European uppercut. Very entertaining match and you couldn’t call which way it was going to go. Cesaro got Ambrose in his Sharpshooter but Ambrose escaped, Ambrose caught Cesaro with a top elbow but Cesaro avoided Ambrose rebound clothesline and hit his Neutralizer for the first time tonight but Cesaro was to beat up to cover and when he tried Ambrose rolled out of the ring. At ringside Cesaro countered Dirty Deeds with back body drop and got back in the ring but Ambrose followed him back in before the 10 count. Cesaro seemed to be getting closer especially after taking Ambrose down with his Cesaro swing but before Cesaro could capitalise Ambrose surprised Cesaro with an inside cradle only for Cesaro to kick out at the very last second, great near fall! Ambrose ran at Cesaro when they were back on their feet but Cesaro pushed Ambrose into the air wanting a high impact uppercut but in mid-air Ambrose swatted Cesaro’s arm away and when he landed Ambrose suddenly spiked Cesaro with his Dirty Deeds which was just about enough to give Ambrose the victory. Once Ambrose had exited the ring Cesaro slowly made his way back to his feet to a strong ovation from the crowd in attendance, showing their respect after Cesaro’s strong performance throughout the night but then all of a sudden Reigns entered the ring and drilled Cesaro with a Spear which the crowd didn’t appreciate. Reigns stood above Cesaro as Dean Ambrose was watching from the ramp with a smile on his face as JBL questioned whether Ambrose had gotten underneath Reigns’ skin or Reigns was nervous about defending against Ambrose but Saxton countered by saying it was revenge from last week where Cesaro dropped Reigns. -OPEN| RAW coming from the O2 Arena in London, England this week opened with our announcers, Michael Cole, JBL & Byron Saxton welcoming everyone to tonight’s show and quickly hyping that tonight we would hear from both the ‘Lunatic Fringe’ Dean Ambrose and the WWE World Heavyweight champion, Roman Reigns ahead of their WWE World Heavyweight championship match at WWE Payback. Also tonight before men will be in action…
- TONIGHT| MAIN EVENT| DEAN AMBROSE V ALBERTO DEL RIO!
- TONIGHT| MAIN EVENT| NON-TITLE MATCH| WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION| ROMAN REIGNS V RUSEV!
- HIGHLIGHT REEL| Following the graphics for tonight’s Double Main Event which will see former Shield members take on former League of Nations members we joined Chris Jericho in the ring for an edition of his Highlight Reel. Jericho wearing a vest with a scarf but no shirt was not happy because last week on SMACK DOWN, Shane McMahon announced that Jericho would have to face AJ Styles again at WWE Extreme Rules! Jericho buried AJ at WrestleMania in front of the world, showing that AJ Styles is not phenomenal and that AJ Styles is not as good as everyone believed and hasn’t got what it takes to be a star here in the WWE. Jericho noted how the only good news was that at WWE Payback which will air in 2 weeks on the WWE Network, after Jericho wins the Fatal Four way over AJ, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens – Jericho gets to pick the stipulation for his match with Styles. Jericho is having fun thinking of ways to torture AJ one final time and Jericho started listing match types when he was interrupted by Kevin Owens…
Kevin Owens the former WWE Intercontinental champion, who will be in the same Fatal Four Way as Jericho at WWE Payback stormed down the ramp and into the ring. Owens was Jericho’s scheduled guest tonight but Jericho didn’t look happy with the early interruption especially after Owens snatched the microphone from Jericho’s hands. Owens was in no mood for games or joking around tonight and told Jericho that, telling Jericho that he may be having fun toying AJ Styles, what’s not fun is your former best friend constantly ruining your career like Sami Zayn is doing to him and Owens situation has to end and it will end at WWE Extreme Rules but for it to end the way Owens wants, he has to win the Fatal Four Way at WWE Payback! So the ‘Prize fighter’ was warning Jericho that he will go through him if he has too. Jericho asked Owens to calm down, saying he only wants peace on his show when Sami Zayn’s music hit in the arena to a huge ovation and Sami came running down the ramp…
Zayn slide into the ring, pushed Owens back into the corner and rocked his former best friend with a number of right hands as Chris Jericho watched on behind with a smile on his face. Jericho rolled out of the ring leaving Sami & Owens to handle their business as Sami was getting set for his Hell’uva kick only for Jericho to change his mind and floor Sami from behind. Jericho stomped on Sami as Owens regained his composure and the crowd chanted for AJ Styles. Crowd got what they wanted seconds later as AJ was down the ramp and in the ring, saving Sami from a 2 on 1 beating. AJ had Jericho back in the corner as Owens looked to attack AJ from behind but Owens ended up hitting Jericho in the corner before Sami Zayn nearly took Jericho’s head off with his Hell’uva kick before AJ cleared Owens from the ring with his Phenomenal forearm. AJ Styles and Sami Zayn faced off in the middle of the ring and exchanged some words before they both backed off from one another, waiting until WWE Payback! AJ Styles & Sami Zayn getting a little bit of revenge tonight.

- SUNDAY 1ST MAY 2016| WWE PAYBACK| WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP © KALISTO V CESARO!
- BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW| WWE Reporter, Tom Phillips was backstage with the new top contender to the WWE United States championship, Cesaro. Phillips mentioned the crazy couple of weeks Cesaro has had since returning from his shoulder injury. Phillips asked Cesaro why on SMACK DOWN he turned his attention to the WWE United States championship. Cesaro wearing a nice suite told Phillips that he didn’t turn his attention to the U.S title on SMACK DOWN, Cesaro has had his eyes on the U.S title for a long time – especially when John Cena was champion. Cesaro admitted that Cena brought the U.S title to new heights and Cesaro attempted a number of times to take the title from Cena and while Cesaro got closer every time he never managed it, in fact Cesaro hurt his shoulder chasing Cena and Cesaro was gutted when Alberto Del Rio took the U.S title from Cena and was even more upset/angry watching Del Rio’s reign. Cesaro thanked Kalisto for taking the U.S title from Del Rio and Cesaro is looking forward to face Kalisto at WWE Payback but Cesaro is determined to take the WWE United States championship and restore the glory, Alberto Del Rio took from it…
- MATCH 1| NON-TITLE MATCH| WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPION| KALISTO V TYLER BREEZE| Fun but short match between two men who know each other well from their days in NXT. ‘Prince Pretty’ is someone who has a lot of potential and could one day be a top star here in the WWE but tonight after testing Kalisto it wasn’t Breeze’ night and the masked U.S champion took the victory following his Salida del Sol. RESULT| KALISTO BEAT TYLER BREEZE VIA PIN FALL
- PRE-MATCH INTERVIEW| Following the match Byron Saxton stopped Kalisto and asked the WWE United States champion for his thoughts on Cesaro’s comments earlier tonight. Kalisto catching his breath admitted that he and Cesaro go way back and there is a lot love between them but it seems they are fighting the same fight because Kalisto is already restoring glory to the WWE United States title!
- BACKSTAGE| Alberto Del Rio the former WWE United States champion was shown watching backstage and ADR did not look happy, later tonight Del Rio faces Dean Ambrose!
- MATCH 2| R-TURTH V BARON CORBIN| Baron Corbin the winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is starting to make a name for himself, the ‘Lone Wolf’ picked up an impressive victory over the veteran Goldust on SMACK DOWN and tonight Corbin managed to make relatively short work of another crowd favourite, R-Truth. JBL could not stop praising Corbin’s performance and predicted that Corbin is a future WWE World Heavyweight champion. RESULT| BARON CORBIN BEAT R-TRUTH VIA PIN FALL
- BACKSTAGE| Kevin Owens was in Shane McMahon’s office going mad about what happened to kick off RAW tonight when AJ Styles & Sami Zayn cleared him and Chris Jericho from the ring. Owens was fuming he wants Sami Zayn’s head, McMahon told Owens that he almost came out there earlier tonight and made a tag match but that wouldn’t have been fair but McMahon is willing to change his plans. This Thursday on SMACK DOWN he was going to have every man involved in the Fatal Four compete in singles competition but now after what happened tonight, SMACK DOWN’s Main Event will be AJ Styles & Sami Zayn V Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens!
- ANNOUNCERS| Cole, JBL & Saxton reacted to SMACK DOWN’s huge Main Event and again praised Shane McMahon who is in charge of the WWE up to and including WWE Payback before Stephanie McMahon returns on the following RAW. Cole turned their attention to the upcoming WWE World Heavyweight championship match which will take place at WWE Payback when former Shield brothers, Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns compete for Reigns’ WWE World Heavyweight championship. Over the weekend Michael Cole sat down individually with both men…
- RECORDED INTERVIEW| Dean Ambrose wearing a black t-shirt with a leather jacket sat opposite Michael Cole. Cole thanked Ambrose for his time but it was clear Ambrose didn’t want to be there, with the fidgeting in his chair. Cole started off by asking Ambrose how he was now feeling after his loss to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Ambrose admitted that the loss sucks and he’s pissed. Cole asked whether he was angry because of the loss or was it bigger than that because Ambrose the night after on RAW got a little emotional and confronted his best friend in the business Roman Reigns after Reigns called out Lesnar. Ambrose asked Cole whether he was looking for a story before saying if it means he can get up and leave faster, Ambrose will open up right now and get everything of his chest…
Dean Ambrose and The Shield (Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) debuted, took over and put everyone on notice from Daniel Bryan, John Cena, the Undertaker and even The Rock! No one was safe, then after a few months they start picking up titles Reigns & Rollins won the tag titles and Ambrose won the U.S title and from their as they continued to take names he was spoken about as the one to watch out for, watch Dean Ambrose he’s crazy, legends like Mick Foley were predicting big things for Ambrose then after they went through the Wyatt Family and Evolution it all ended when Seth Rollins took a chair to his and Reigns back, Rollins stabbed them in the heart and with that the Shield was done! Dead! Ambrose admitted that maybe he took longer to adapt without his brothers and he watched as Seth Rollins became Mr. Money in the Bank and the face of the Authority while Reigns won the Royal Rumble and faced Brock Lesnar in the Main Event of WrestleMania. Seth Rollins, the snake stole the WWE World Heavyweight title, Reigns has now been WWE World Heavyweight champion 3 times and Ambrose hears the whispers, “what happened to Ambrose?” “Ambrose is the only member of the Shield, never to have been WWE World Heavyweight champion!” Ambrose said that needs to change, and it will change at WWE Payback because brother or not, Ambrose has to beat Roman Reigns – after falling short a couple of times, Ambrose may not get another opportunity so at WWE Payback, its’ Dean Ambrose’ turn to become the WWE World Heavyweight champion! Ambrose finished by saying he has climbed his way up from the gutter, he has earned everything he’s got and Ambrose is not falling at the final hurdle! Ambrose pulled of his microphone and told Cole they were done while walking off…
- SUNDAY 1ST MAY 2016| WWE PAYBACK| MAIN EVENT| WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP © ROMAN REIGNS V DEAN AMBROSE!
- MATCH 3| MAIN EVENT| DEAN AMBROSE V ALBERTO DEL RIO| U.K crowd loved Dean Ambrose tonight. Announcers discussed Ambrose’ comments as the match was getting started, admitting that they were all shocked with what Ambrose had to say – JBL mentioned how it much be eating Ambrose up inside the amount of success Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have had compared to him. Ambrose who has the best win rate since WrestleMania, winning all 4 of his matches started off on fire – mauling Del Rio but Del Rio has impressed since the split of the League of Nations and won a Battle Royal last week on RAW. This match was more of a fight, very stiff with neither men backing down – been a while since Del Rio has put in a performance like tonight. Not many near falls were exchanged due to both men having the other’s preferred moves well scouted with Ambrose coming the closest with his rebound lariat. Del Rio thought he had Ambrose in position for his Double foot stomp of the top but Ambrose avoided and Del Rio jarred his knee which gave Ambrose time to recover and set ADR up for his Dirty Deeds but Del Rio pushed Ambrose away and then kicked Ambrose right between the legs and the match official had no choice but to call the match off awarding the victory to Dean Ambrose via disqualification. RESULT| DEAN AMBROSE BEAT ALBERTO DEL RIO VIA DISQUALIFICATION
- POST MATCH| Alberto Del Rio wasn’t done after shouting abuse at Dean Ambrose and pushing away the match official, Del Rio left the ring to grab a steel chair as the announcers talked about this new side we are seeing out of Alberto Del Rio over the last couple of weeks. As Del Rio re-entered the ring Roman Reigns slide into the ring on the opposite side and Del Rio quickly bailed. Roman Reigns coming to the aid of Dean Ambrose but the crowd hated Reigns, they were all over the WWE World Heavyweight champion as he paced the ring watched Alberto Del Rio retreat. The atmosphere towards Reigns was toxic but they cheered when Reigns went to check on Ambrose but Ambrose pushed Reigns back before telling Reigns he’s a big boy and doesn’t need protecting before walking out on his friend and the man he will face for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at WWE Payback!
- TONIGHT| MAIN EVENT| NON-TITLE MATCH| WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION| ROMAN REIGNS V RUSEV!
- HIGHLIGHTS| Footage was shown from SMACK DOWN this past Thursday showing the debut of the Vaudevillians (Aiden English & Simon Gotch) it appeared the former NXT Tag Team champions were going to assist the Dudley Boyz in attacking Enzo & Big Cass only for the WWE Tag Team champions, New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) to make the save…

Vaudevillians as well as Enzo & Big Cass are strong additions to the WWE Tag Team division which already includes top teams like the Usos’, Dudley Boyz and the WWE Tag Team champions, New Day. - MATCH 5| SASHA BANKS V EMMA| Sasha Banks feels like she was robbed out of the WWE Women’s title at WrestleMania by Charlotte and her father the legendary – Ric Flair after Flair grabbed hold of Sasha not allowing her to get back into the ring to stop the match winning Figure 8. At WWE Payback, 6 of the top women superstars will meet for the right to challenge Charlotte for the WWE Women’s championship at WWE Extreme Rules. - HIGHLIGHTS| On SMACK DOWN; The Miz accused Dolph Ziggler of being jealous of his former loser friend Zack Ryder now that Ryder is the WWE Intercontinental champion…
- MATCH 6| WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP| TOP CONTENDERS MATCH| DOLPH ZIGGLER V THE MIZ| The Miz would have become the WWE Intercontinental champion at WrestleMania had he not took too long to gloat before pulling down the WWE title which allowed Zack Ryder to get in and shock the world. Dolph Ziggler had his serious face on him tonight due to The Miz mocking Ziggler for how far Ziggler’s career had fallen that he is now celebrating Zack Ryder’s success, also Ziggler will not have been happy with Miz trying to cause trouble between himself and Ryder. Good match, which got a fair amount of time. Miz worked over Ziggler’s leg setting him up for the Figure four but before Miz got the move locked in, Ziggler almost picked up the victory after hitting his Zig Zag only for Miz to get his foot on the rope. Ziggler would come close again following his famouser but eventually Miz would lock Ziggler in his Figure four but Ziggler showed great heart by making the ropes. Ziggler managed to catch Miz with his Super kick shortly after but was too beat up to make the cover so Ziggler looked for a high DDT but Miz pushed Ziggler off and Ziggler’s knee buckled which allowed Miz to throw Ziggler high over the top turnbuckle with Ziggler hitting the ring post before dropping Ziggler with his Skull Crushing Finale for the victory. The Miz will challenge Zack Ryder for the WWE Intercontinental championship at WWE Payback! RESULT| THE MIZ BEAT DOLPH ZIGGLER VIA PIN FALL

McMahon shook Crews hand and told Crews he had impressed since coming up from NXT as has Baron Corbin so McMahon believes it would be a good idea to see who’s made the bigger impression between the two by making a match between Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin for WWE Payback! Crews thanked Shane McMahon for the opportunity…
- BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW| WWE Reporter, Tom Phillips was standing by with the ‘Lone Wolf’ Baron Corbin to get his thoughts on his match just announced against Apollo Crews at WWE Payback but before Corbin could answer he was interrupted by Goldust. Goldust is looking for a tag team partner and told Corbin he impressed him on SMACK DOWN and would love the opportunity to work alongside Corbin. Corbin called Goldust – old man before telling him to get lost! More rejection for the Golden One after his brother Stardust rejected him last week. Corbin annoyed just stared at Phillips and walked off instead of addressing Apollo Crews.
- SUNDAY 1ST MAY 2016| WWE PAYBACK| MAIN EVENT| WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP © ROMAN REIGNS V DEAN AMBROSE!
- HIGHLIGHTS| Earlier tonight Dean Ambrose beat Alberto Del Rio via disqualification. Following the match Del Rio was going to attack Ambrose with a steel chair only for WWE World Heavyweight champion, Roman Reigns to save Ambrose but Ambrose wasn’t happy, pushing away and walking off from his brother and man he will face at WWE Payback!
- RECORDED INTERVIEW| Roman Reigns recorded interview with Michael Cole aired, like Ambrose – Reigns sat opposite Cole but unlike Ambrose, Reigns seemed comfortable and willing to talk with Michael Cole. Cole congratulated Reigns on beating Triple H to become the WWE World Heavyweight champion, which Reigns thanked Cole for. Cole asked whether this reign was any different for Roman. Roman agreed that this time being the WWE World Heavyweight champion feels different, the first two times he had the Authority messing with him, screwing with him but at WrestleMania he finally put an end to the Authority when he speared Stephanie McMahon and took the WWE title from Triple H! Cole asked what was next for Roman Reigns and his Roman Empire…
Reigns said he’s been thinking about this a lot lately, he’s been asking himself where he wants to take his career and he’s decided that it’s time to move on, leave everything behind him, The Shield, The Authority it’s all in the past now. Reigns has headlined consecutive WrestleMania’s he’s a 3 time WWE World Heavyweight champion but now it’s time for him to make everyone fully realise that this is his house and he’s the man, the guy, the icon, the ace, the face – Reigns doesn’t care what name people use but everyone needs to recognise the WWE is now the ‘Big Dog’s’ yard! That’s why Reigns wants Brock Lesnar they have unfinished business, its why Reigns has been talking to Shane McMahon about getting in the ring with the likes of John Cena and the Undertaker because Reigns is out to prove himself. Reigns also said he will also love Dean Ambrose and he will always have Ambrose’s back but they need to cut the cord and he’ll do that at WWE Payback when he beats Ambrose to retain his WWE World Heavyweight title and he hopes Ambrose can deal with the loss, take it like a man and move on with his career knowing that while Roman Reigns is around Dean Ambrose will never be the WWE World Heavyweight champion! When finished, Reigns thanked Cole for his time and the two shook hands before Reigns left – complete opposite to Dean Ambrose…
- MATCH 8| MAIN EVENT| NON-TITLE MATCH| WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION| ROMAN REIGNS V RUSEV W. LANA| U.K crowd were again all over Roman Reigns. Reigns in the past used to ignore the taunts/boo’s but now seems to enjoy them, even play on them at times. Crowd were actually more behind the ‘Bulgarian Brute’ Rusev the former WWE United States champion. Reigns and Rusev had a very entertaining match, the two had chemistry. Match went around ringside at times with the match official showing a little leniency. Rusev like Alberto Del Rio seems to have re-found his form/aggression since ending the League of Nations and he brought the fight to Reigns tonight, working over the champions back in preparation for his Accolade submission. Crowd hated it when Reigns was making his comeback hitting his drive by kick and they were livid after Reigns smashed Rusev with a Spear for the victory! RESULT| ROMAN REIGNS BEAT RUSEV VIA PIN FALL
- POST MATCH| Roman Reigns was handed his WWE World Heavyweight title after a hard fought victory only for Alberto Del Rio to jump Reigns from behind. Del Rio floored the WWE champion and stomped away on Reigns before holding Reigns for Rusev to drop Reigns with a jumping kick to the face. All of a sudden Dean Ambrose was in the ring with a steel chair, he hit Rusev in the ribs before swinging for Del Rio who bailed out of the ring with Rusev following him. Ambrose holding the steel chair was standing behind Reigns, seemingly thinking about using the chair against Roman Reigns, a large “YES” chant broke out in the arena but Ambrose tossed the chair down to boos before forcefully spinning Reigns around and offering Reigns his fist. Crowd didn’t like Ambrose showing Reigns respect but Reigns fist bumped Ambrose and then the ‘Lunatic Fringe’ rolled out of the ring as RAW went off the air as Michael Cole questioned what was going through Dean Ambrose’s mind just under two weeks away from WWE Payback live on the WWE Network!
