Diamond Dallas Page will be part of the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class, the PWInsider website is reporting.
We reported here on Wrestling News World that tickets for the WWE Hall of Fame go on sale on Jan. 13, 2017, making it conceivable the first inductee would be officially announced on the Jan. 9, 2017 episode of WWE Raw so the company could promote tickets.
Page is a name that has been rumored for years and we've seen two people that he helped save in Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Scott "Razor Ramon" Hall go in before him.
WWE also plans to release a DDP DVD set in March:
IT'S ALMOST HERE BRO! WWE will release my DVD titled Diamond Dallas Page: Positively Living March 2017! Check out the DVD cover! pic.twitter.com/T6bakLCV1s

The 2017 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Friday, April 1, 2017 from the Amway Center in Orlando, FL. It will air live in its entirety on the WWE Network.

About time, well deserved, wonder who out Scott and Jake will induct him

Nash should probably induct DDP.
I'm pretty sure they've always been close friends. It wouldn't surprise me to see Hall or Roberts do it though.

I'm very happy for DDP. He's had an amazing career and his post wrestling life is even more successful.
Personally, I wouldn't mind if Bischoff inducted him.

I couldn't see him headline the hof but a decent choice. People forget how over he was in 97-99. I could see Eric Bishoff inducting him, or jake.

His former bodyguard Max Muscle should induct him.
Congrats to him though. He definitely deserves this honor.

I think it would be touching if both Hall and Jake inducted him together.

I called that one!
A while ago I said on here that DDP would be the headliner this year, and I have no doubt now that he is the headliner.
Brutus Beefcake will be the semi main event headliner for sure.

I think Bischoff would be a great choice, as he would put him over appropriately. I fee like WWE guys would focus more on the recent years DDP, and Bischoff would put over the WCW work better. DDP was super cool in late WCW. Teaming with Malone, being more of a match for Goldberg than a squash, the 3 tier cage match from R2R! TV Champ, Us Champ, Tag champ, European Champ, World Heavyweight Champ.

Well deserved HOF induction, never had the chance at a good run in WWE, but man was he electric for WCW during the Monday Night Wars. Always seemed like a good dude and a hard worker.

A big congrats to a well deserved induction. Between a great career, as well as the good he's done, since leaving the ring, it's great to see him get this honor. I'd put my money on Jake being the one to induct him.

Glad he is getting inducted but I would be shocked if he's the headliner. No disrespect to DDP but I just dont see WWE making him the headliner that weekend.

Come on now, Ted DiBiase headlined a HOF a few years back, so I don't see why DDP couldn't headline this one. And seriously, who is really left that COULD headline a HOF for the WWE?? All the huge names are in, and any that aren't are dead.

Including some guys who are still active but slowly approaching the end of their careers Angle, Rock, Goldberg, Undertaker, Kane, Triple H, Chris Jericho, and you *could* make an argument for Sid as long as he doesnt have a softball game.
