patera would not be happy about that sig of yours anyways, rude is certainly one of the last major names to not be in yet. had tremendous style. and yes, both before his major wwf run and after he had tremendous nwa/wcw runs. it's a shame that his match with sting cut his injury short as i think he would have been a tremendous main eventer in the attitude era.

Ultimo Dragon should def go in. They usually have a foreigner inducted every year.
Steiner Brothers would be a huge surprise
Victoria should go in for the woman division but I hear it might be Beth Phoenix.

I for one think that Jim Johnston is LONG OVERDUE to a Warrior Award, and it would help the Award stay true to it's original purpose (with all due respect to Connor and Joan Ludden) Also, I was at WrestleMania Weekend last year and the WWE Hall Of Fame Legacy Award seemed like "Oh,here you go,thanks for everything" with not a lot of attention paid to it. Even so, i wonder who's receiving it this year? Thoughts? I think the same thing Jim Johnston should get it.

I didn't get how he hasn't gone in all ready, I kinda forget he's not a hall of famer. The majority of people who aren't in have or still have on going "beef" with the WWE. Rude never did as far as I know, which means there's no really valid reason as why he isn't in.

Earl Hebner, Danny Davis or Jimmy Korderas come to mind.

Very strong rumors hes headed for HOF this year at long last! The talk is rife among the wrestling podcasts and the vibes are good. Shame Rude is no longer around I would love to see him get up and make a speech. I always thought Rude had a better career in WCW than WWE. Its very underated that period of the early 90s when Rude was on top there and he had some great matches with Steamboat, Dustin Rhodes, Sting etc. Anyway this induction is loooong overdue about time WWE got hfim inducted. I LOVED his WCW run. It's a shame they never put the world title on him.

If rumors of Beth Phoenix being the next female inductee are true that is awesome, she definitely deserves it. But is it too soon?
I feel as if Sable, Miss Elizabeth, Chyna, Lillian Garcia, Victoria, Aj Lee, Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Vickie Guerrero and Melina should go in too.

I knew I should have mentioned this in my first post. The International Championship doesn't count. That was a bullcraptitle they created just because they got the big gold belt back when Ric Flair left WWE.

Of course until WWE officially announce inductees, I don't believe any rumours. But if the rumoured inductees are true, hypothetically, then I don't think it would be a bad class at all.
Rick Rude absolutely 110% deserves it. I can't believe he isn't in yet. Like other members, I sort of always just expect that he's a Hall of Famer, and tend to forget that they haven't actually inducted him yet. Shocking that they haven't really, he should have been inducted years ago. Long overdue.
Beth Pheonix isn't a bad choice, but I feel she is way, way, way too recent to be inducting. It's like when Edge got inducted as soon as his career was over. Yeah, he may never have wrestled again, and definitely deserved to be inducted in time, but it was just way too recent, and so it didn't feel right. Beth Pheonix, I feel like she is still young enough to return for another run in the near future. Although Kurt Angle could do the same, I think it's very unlikely for him to be a full-timer again, but it is still possible for Beth Pheonix. She was last in WWE only 4 years ago. For Kurt Angle, it's been 10 years. If they need to choose a woman to induct, there are so many that are worthy of being inducted, that last wrestled in WWE a much longer period of time ago.

I came back watching WCW around 1993 so really didn't know about the smaller HW belt they had. I also knew it as the belt Flair originally brought to WWF. To me, Rude and (now I guess) Barry Windham were the WCW heavyweight champions. I really didn't think that Vader was the actually champ in the company.

I saw some talk about Beth Phoenix going in. If so, I think it's awesome. She is one of my favorite all time women in wrestling and she absolutely deserves it.

Rock n Roll Express rumored to be announced Monday. Wow if it's true that's awesome and so deserving. One of my favorite teams during the old NWA days.

Yeah Rock n Roll Express would be awesome and I'm sure Morton will be entertaining when giving the speech.
Jim Cornette doesn't want to be in the hall of fame, but if they inducted Eaton, Condrey, and Lane along with him, then he'd consider it. I hope they do that one they as that would be better than a solo JC induction.

I love that the Rock n Roll Express is being inducted in the Hall of Fame. Hopefully next year the Midnight Express get inducted.
