I am watching the Raw the nigh after Royal Rumble 1996 so i believe its jan 22. Where it says Vader time on the singlet is on the back. Anyone know if he wore it backwards or what?

I was wondering the same thing, having recently watched that. I think he might have worn it that way at least twice. Then, he transitioned to a singlet that had a lot more red in the front than the one I remember him wearing. I'm thinking he just hadn't worked out his look yet.
Also, maybe reading too much into things... but did you sense that Vince didn't like it when Vader took his mask off? In Japan and WCW he would often lose the mask during the match, but it seems in WWF he only took it off in the very beginning of his run, and after that he tried hard to keep it on.

I figured it was because it stunk so bad that he figured if he wore it the other way it wouldn't smell as much?? haha

J.R. always used to call him that stinky bear during his WWF run so that really confirmed it. That sums him up! He would get home from a tour, and just leave his gear bag in the trunk. Never took it out to wash the gear, and then would leave a few days later with it all still in the bag. I am sure he ended up washing it though from time to time, but he definitely wasn't doing it regularly enough like he should have been. |

She had her hand over her face for most of the show and stated that it was the stench coming from Kane's clothes. After the show, I remember doubling over with laughter because he was completely unrepentant about it. When asked about Terri complaining about his odor, he said, "This is my one outfit, and I never wash it." |

Vader 's swamp-ass gear is the equivalent to the Joker's war paint in TDK.
Also Vader always struck me as someone who didn't care if his gear was on wrong or not considering he's done it more than twice.

I guess in kayfabe Kane binned his old attires. I don't think he was being completely literal, only unrepentant for torturing Terri's nose. I took it as his way of saying, "Yes, my attire is dirty and stinky, and I couldn't care less."  |
