i have been emailing mattel and asda about availability for the retro figures in the uk, i have just had this response from asda
Wwe mattel retro
Response By Email (Fergus) (05/01/2017 04.15 PM) Hello Robert We dont have any plans at the moment to release these here. The toys are limited edition and not part of the usual Mattel line up. I'm sorry we dont sell these but maybe another UK retailer will be or can import one for you. Kind Regards
Gus Purcell ASDA Service Team
Question Reference # 170104-006548
was really hoping we would have seen them in the uk, exclusive figures are not cool!

No offence but he doesn't know what he's talking about, limited edition? They're not. They are exclusive, to Walmart. Asda is Walmart. I was told they wouldn't get the Then, Now, Forever figures at all and the got the basics.

I'm tired of UK fans being treated like second class citizens. If Mattel want exclusives then give them to worldwide shops that accommodate everybody.
Target gets cool stuff so does Wallgreens and Walmart but we get NOTHING.

How is that good? The UK guys don't get figures they may want just because of where they live. It's not a matter of the Mattel team but it does suck that the people are ASDA won't get these in for the collectors that want them.

If every uk member emailed their buyers they'd reconsider I'm sure. they'd sell to kids of around 4-8 better than basics and elites do

I genuinely never realised these were Walmart Exclusives. Man, they've got some good stuff with these and the TNF range that will likely never see the light of day over here. A shame, but ASDA probably wouldn't sell enough to warrant having so many different lines in stock.
It'd be great if Mattel could do an exclusive Smyths line.

Target gets cool stuff so does Wallgreens and Walmart but we get NOTHING. If enough people got in touch with the buyers for Asda/Tesco/wherever, they'd be more inclined to buy the extra lines in. It would be a much more productive use of our time than complaining that Mattel is hiding the toys from them.

Smyths have had things like TRU and Kmart exclusive playsets in the past, so maybe they might have them? I wouldn't hold my breathe though... ...why on earth is that good!?

It's been confirmed by a well known rival store (PR), that Wave A is Walmart exclusive. Wave B is the same as A, but with Warrior and Undertaker, and is NOT Walmart exclusive.
Yet, you will continue to trust 2 bob customer services reps at Asda/Smyths/ wherever who can't even spell WWE.....
