I recently received my S.H.FIGUARTS WWE The Rock and SCSA set and as I'm adjusting to new articulation I'm liking them more and more each day. However my Rock figure has a loose hip joint piece that connect directly to the thigh and because of this it seems to put a strain on the hip peg and I don't want to break it. What should I do or who should I contact to fix this problem? Pictures to come!

Quite the tricky situation... I would suggest super glue but the S.H figures are quite expensive. Maybe contact the supplier and see if you can get something done? An exchange maybe?

I'm not quite sure what is causing the problem. Is the hip piece not moving well on the ball joint. I used some heat from a hair dryer and then dabbed some oil on the joints to get the legs to work better. Mine were making squeaking sounds like they were too tight and I also felt like it could stress the peg. I'm going to toss out a couple things that might help you or someone else: Sometimes the joints are really tight and could use a dab of oil. Watch the youtube video or google "oiling Sh Figuarts joints". If you do this, do not use WD-40 or anything with petroleum. It could mess up the paints or ruin the plastic. I got 100 % silicone shock oil that is used for RC Cars, exactly as shown in the video. The higher the ##w tells you how thick the oil is. I think 80w is the thickest These figures can be taken a part pretty easily. Some heat will help make it easier.

Thank you guys so much for your responses and help. I actually put some wahl shaver oil and it helped but I was too late as the peg broke but I didn't realize you could take apart the figures in that manner. Fortunately my SCSA was saved from the same predicament as the peg on the left legs are very tight.

I hope you can get a refund or exchange. I'm not sure if it's possible to contact Bandai or Tamashii for the part that broke, then you could reassemble it.
