The company truly is a train wreck. These guys belong nowhere near a pro wrestling company anymore and have shown they refuse to evolve.
Cornette is a joke anymore and won't last, once someone backstage disagrees with his opinion.

Here comes the inevitable Team Cornette vs. Team Pritchard Lethal Lockdown match... ugh.

So the main event is pointless now. Shot vs. shot, when everyone will be getting a Global Championship shot next week.
Makes no sense.

Taryn is back, therefore so is my interest in this company. I'm very happy!

I was surprised to see Cornet.
And I marked out like the biggest Fanboy when Petey Williams came out

I watched highlights. I didnt mind Matt Sydal winning since Lashley is focusing more on MMA. Seeing Jim Cornette back was good, AS LONG as hes only an on air character. He should not have anything to do with creative IMO. Leave that aspect to Dutch. Taryn Terrell back was eh. I did like her in the Dollhouse, but i honestly dont see how she'll fit in today, but at least its one more knockout on the roster, so it is what it is. Of course Sonjay Dutt retained. Always liked Dutt, and im glad hes getting a good amount of time as champion. Looking forward to the Gauntlet for the Gold

So... apparently GFW spoiled next week's main event and posted a video of an interview with the winner.
Guess I don't need to watch next week now. Stupid idiots.

Fans, if you're even thinking of changing the channel to Impact DO NOT. We understand that *** ***** is going to win they're World Title. Yeah, that'll put butts in the seats.'

What I like and what I dont.
Like:
1. This guy is World Champion. This is fantastic. If they put the focus on him and get him some credible babyface challengers, this could be gold. Babyface EC3, Matt Sydal, James Storm, Edwards. Eddie should be the immediate top contender considering the ending and then Sydal. I will explain why below.
2. James E. Cornette. Cornette is far superior to Prichard. Jimmy can play a great foil to the heel champion or switch it up and be a foil to a babyface champion. See his ROH work.
3. Return of Taryn Terrell. Their women's division had some good workers and characters. We have the crazy Rosemary, Sienna with the power, Gail the technical wrestler, Van Ness the psycho. But it didnt have eye candy. Enter Terrell.
4. Return of Petey Williams. There are certain guys from the past like a Petey Williams, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Young Bucks...that can provide nostalgia without being too old, are recognizable faces and can perform inside the ring. Bring Petey back is an excellent move.
5. How they booked Sydal/Lashley. I like that Lashley is this unstoppable force and Sydal played the heroic underdog. This worked. I loved the finish. Simple roll up, surprise 3 count and the underdog somehow comes away with the win. Now, you need Sydal to come out and say he isnt challenging for the X Division title...he wants the World Title.
6. Johnny Impact. The guy brings excitement and star power. Cant go wrong with adding him to the roster. Again, offers another credible baby face challenger...just as long as they dont follow their old tendencies of hot shotting the belt to a former WWE guy just because hes a WWE guy. Let this guy get a win here so it adds credibility to his reign. If done right, you could have a major babyface develop from your ranks or outside your roster that will get major momentum when they eventually defeat This Guy.
Dont Like:
1. WAY too many comedy acts. Grado, Joseph Park, Dick Justice. Comedy is apart of wrestling. Find one that works and use that one. Hint...Grado isnt it.
2. Chris Adonis being with Eli Drake. Seems so unnecessary. Why? I would get This Guy wanting to have Tyrus. He wants muscle. I think This Guy having a second early on is a good move. But I would almost like to go the HBK/Diesel route where the muscle eventually rises up and challenges the big heel for the belt.
3. Confusion. You have got to get a game plan for each character and put it into place. Things will change. People will ask for releases. New people will be signed. Contracts will expire. All kinds of things will happen. STICK to the story. If its something that is immediate and you only have a week to work with...dont make sudden moves. For example, Storm decides he wants out of his contract. Instead of randomly turning Storm heel...use this opportunity to put someone over. Storm could start the show saying how he has been over looked and he is tired of it. He calls out This Guy. This Guy says Storm isnt worthy of a title match and that his credentials dont mean crap. Its a new day in GFW and you cant just live off of name value. Storm offers a deal. This catches This Guy's eye. Storm says he is a gambling man and he is willing to gamble on himself. In exchange for a title match, he will put his GFW career on the line. Title vs. Career. Now This Guy has something to gain. He could vanquish Storm from GFW. He could be known as the man to take down the last TNA original...even lay claim to the man that put the final dagger into the heart of TNA...lay claim that he ran all the so called originals right out the damn door. "I ran them out of GFW. Each and every one of them have set sail...FULL SAIL...courtesy of TH. IS. GUY!"
4. Adding some rather unknown talent like an OVE can workout and also allows you to mold some original talent into GFW superstars. But be careful. You dont want to look at a GFW roster and see a bunch of mid level indy talent on it that most people nationally havent heard of. Make sure to work on getting the higher level indy names from ROH and hope they dont all goto NXT.
5. Dont let the X Division become second or third fiddle. This should be your heart and soul of the company. Stick with the idea that X Division isnt about weight limits....its about no limits. That way you will open the doors to some more unique talents.
6. Eliminate the MMA rules of the Grand Championship. Its so dumb. Grand Championship is fine by me for a name. But just make it your mid card belt and get EC3 out of there. He is being wasted this low on the card. EC3 is without a doubt one of their top 3 talents on the roster. He can play a face or heel flawlessly. He has a great look and a great gimmick. Dont waste it. Take advantage of it for all its worth.

Watched last Thursday's episode, the first time I've made an effort to watch since AEP won their championship, and I enjoyed it. Happy to see some of TNA's former talent reenter the company.
