that's so cool, man. luckily, i got to meet with a lot of the older ecw/tna/wwe stars on the indies due to my dad being friends with and working with with the lot of them, and for the most part they were all pretty cool. chris harris was one of the main ones. he was really nice and down to earth prior to tna, then got a big head, ESPECIALLY after he was featured in wwecw. idk if you remember andy douglas from the naturals in mid-tna days, my dad actually stole his girlfriend from him at he time, then stiffed him with a kendo so hard that her never came back to the territory lmao. Haha what!? That’s awesome man, was your Dad somebody I’d know?? He worked with a lot of guys that went on to have pretty good careers! That’s awesome, though, Jeez I wish I had a contact in the wrestling world. Some of my best interactions though have come at TNA house shows. Everybody was so personable, they let the fans go backstage at one show and we met the wrestlers haha. I always enjoyed those shows. I had my best seats to a wrestling show ever at a TNA show. We were front row except the arena was a theatre...so the seating surrounding 2 sides of the ring was on a stage so we were sitting level with the ring...I could literally reach out and grab the top rope. It was like sitting on the ring apron and watching the show haha. Im in the Bound for Glory intro to one of them from this show haha unless you're from the kentucky/indiana area, i doubt it. sadly he died, before he really got a chance to get out there despite working indies for so long. he had all the friends/connections and was about to start his own promotion before his passing. you can find a little bit about him from google if you search up 'gentleman jim chadwick'. he had so many contacts close before they hit tna/wwe and plenty after the original ecw ended, and even had corny on speed dial haha. i still have one of his nwa/tna world heavyweight championship replica titles that was signed by at least a dozen tna guys at the time. him being a former manager of larry d is why i'm so big on the guy now. i loved his work when i was younger, and really want him to do big things going forward. he's such a cool dude and the fact that he was such good friends with my dad makes me want him to find success even more. abyss was actually one of my dad's best friends all the way back to his days as prince justice.

Somehow, I think Katie Forbes is like that in real life. I wouldn’t be surprised

That’s REALLY cool that you had such a direct link to so many guys in the business. I’m sorry to hear that about your Dad though man, that’s depressing but It’s cool to hear that you have such good memories though, that’s what it’s all about. Your memories will never leave you Corny on speed dial....my god haha.

I totally understand that, I think you’re seeing it now but in time you definitely will see that what made it hard to watch wrestling will actually endear you to it. Haha Cornette is Cornette though, his track record has never been anything to admire if you know what I mean. My interest in him is a wrestling personality, nobodies perfect and frankly I don’t even wanna know what people do in their personal lives. It seems like it never any good haha.

My interest in him is a wrestling personality, nobodies perfect and frankly I don’t even wanna know what people do in their personal lives. It seems like it never any good haha. if i'm lucky, one of those brothers will see my post and hook me up, then i got you lol. i think one of the worst parts about it all is that i can still remember having the conversation(s) with him that i wanted him to manage me when i got into the business, then after all that happened, i didn't anything to do with it. my interest in watching only came back within the last couple of years. i still have dreams of becoming a wrestler, but a part of me still puts it off because he won't be able to help me along the way. then the other part of me wants to do it because that's what he would've wanted, so i'm constantly fighting myself about what to do about it. i'm only 26 so there's still time, but with everything else that i've going on, it makes it a constant struggle. despite his polarizing followers, i still like old corny no matter what. i agree with some of his perspective on things, but think if he was able to change his mindset and become more accepting of some current changes, he'd be more accepted. it doesn't all have to be old school thinking, but a good 60/40 mix of the old and new school is solid ground for me. i too couldn't care less about his personal life, but it is a little funny as compared to what i'm accustomed to which is why i made the joke lol.

interesting ending to say the least. i will say i'm a big fan of being left wondering instead of decisive endings to the show. gives me more incentive to check out next week, which i definitely will. thoroughly enjoying impact at the moment.

Did I miss something? Didn't seem like a weird ending at all outside of how quickly it cut off, seemed like Josh wasn't totally done his sentence. Good episode though. Skipped Katie Forbes parts, but that weird ass Tommy Dreamer reality house thing was kinda fun.

Figures, just as Impact gets interesting again, my cable company dumps the AXS channel. Any other way to watch? Watch on Twitch. Impact streams it them self, it’s free Search Impact and it’ll take you to their channel Thanks. Never heard of Twitch before, but I'll check it out.

Ah ok gotcha. Thanks! They kinda did the same thing at the end of Slammiversary cutting to the EC3 promo and then quickly cutting off air so it was fresh in my mind that it didn't really register as 'weird'. Just making sure I didn't miss some actual angle after!
