Great episode overall. Though have to wonder why Storm wasnt in the gauntlet. He was shown backstage, I expected him to be in the gauntlet too. Has he done anything since the announced he was going into their HOF? I started watching TNA/GFW just his his stable was breaking up he had that feud with EC3 and hes kinda faded out..

Great episode overall. Though have to wonder why Storm wasnt in the gauntlet. I talked to Bram in april at the GFW show in Clarksville for about 15 mins or so (i was a vendor) and he said Storm was pretty much done wrestling. Overall I think GFW has been great the past couple of weeks. I love the new faces and the international talent! I think GFW should develop these young guys and rely on them instead of bringing in so many ex WWE guys as they are known for. I was very excited to see E LI Drake win the title! Hes very good! DUMMY YEAH Also I had talked to Jarrett about 2 months ago and he had mentioned GFW going on the road this summer, so it looks like its true!

The piped in boo's are pathetic. Hahaha Agreed. Though I booed for real when Low Ki was eliminated, even though I knew he is now done with GFW.

Somehow I missed all the spoilers on this and when they got down to 5 I thought for sure E-Li-Drake was next to go. Then at 4, then at three and definitely at 2. I was in disbelief when he won. I thought at some point he might get the belt, however briefly he holds it, but I was not expecting it to be now.

I don't think Storm is done wrestling. We'll see.

Decent episode I thought, really interested in seeing how Johnny Impact will go.
There's enough to keep me intrigued but it's a scant amount.

I'm just glad Petey is back. Not too fond of the new green ropes. I miss the red ropes.
I really hope Eli is given a nice run with the belt. His celebratory promo a couple weeks ago was the best thing from GFW in a while.

His celebratory promo a couple weeks ago was the best thing from GFW in a while. Drake has probably been a favorite of mine since he came in. I'm really hoping they give Eli some room to evolve and grow into the championship. I don't want to see a one-dimensional coward hiding behind his heavy the entire time, keeping the belt warm until the next ex-WWE name comes along, or another run for Lashley. I agree with ya on the ropes, too. The green looks so gimmicky to me. Find it funny that the X Belt was that pea green color for years when the company's colors were primarily blue; but now that green is added to the scheme to represent GFW, the belt is now blue.

Only time i cared about Lashley was his first title run, where we finally had a dominate heel champion that didnt need interference (still one of my favorite TNA World Champions of all time)

We almost got rid of Grado! LOL So strange seeing Impact as a face here whilst being a heel in LU...refreshing a bit, I reckon...

I'm a big fan of Garza Jr. Anybody who frequently rips their pants off is good in my book.
I honestly am gonna miss Lashley. I've enjoyed his heel run quite a bit over the past few years, and he's been fun to watch in the ring. His spear has been badass, too.

Bit of a mess this week of what I saw, but that's *whatever the name of this company is now* for you...

That was pretty cool how the episode ended with so many disparate elements and characters involved. It felt important.
Okada's the head of the class, but Eli's my favorite world champion right now.

In lieu of a Victory Road thread I have to say what I saw was essentially a decent episode of Impact, save for a weak main event.

IMPACT episodes feel so blah, the angles and booking are decent but the company is lacking any sort of momentum to make the characters look good. They really hotshotted Texano and Pagano too, then again it's probably just to build up El Hijo del Fantasma as a player which I'm cool with. Where's Dezmond Xavier been lately?
