Did anyone else notice that the post-match Alisha/Katarina theme is the exact same one WWE used for Carmella's MITB highlight package? The one with the line "pretty hair, nice clothes, cute face." Y'know the one I mean?
Also the beginning of Konnan's LAX theme is really similar to SAnitY's before the vocals kick in!
I think this is more than a mere coincidence.

BFG this Sunday and there seems to be hardly any buzz tbh. On here or in general? Can't even remember the last time I sat down and caught a full episode of Impact. Have barely watched half of a single match in months, even though the overall outlook of the company does seem less bleak and depressing without the reports of all the turnover and departures. |

i’ll be watching BFG.
less joe hendry would be awesome. just not down for the goofiness. think I saw him on the indies a while back and it works better in that audience type it seemed.

Starting on 10/25, Impact will beginning airing at 10pm on POP. Next week they will air at 8pm and repeat at 10pm. After that, 10pm will be the new time slot.

Seeing as there a no BFG thread and there's no point in starting one now.. What was with Aries no selling at the end of the match? He ate the pin jumped to his feet before Johnny Impact could, shouted  you to someone in the audience and walked out flipping the bird. |

I assume its a work and that Impact and company are really trying to blur the lines and make things feel a lot more real like their OGz/LAX stuff and by making it seem more like a shoot that it could draw in some more fans to the product by giving it more of a real gritty feel then WWE.
If I am wrong it would suck to lose A Double who in my eyes in terms of the history of TNA/Impact is one of the top ten names in the companies history and most important acts.

so apparently it was a shoot. really disappointed in Aries. that feud on the last episode of impact clearly pissed Johnny off, and then the twitter war, tmz’s involvement, and the abyss hof incident just put the whole thing on boil.
insanely unprofessional of Aries.

Maybe this will be a sign to other companies to not book the douche. When you start to actually believe that the wrestling is real and the title wins actually are more than just the bookers deciding to put the strap on someone else, then you've become a mark for yourself.
Aries needs to take a look at the Punk situation. He thought he was bigger than the company and he was wrong (and that was WWE). Aries isn't even big enough to do that in Impact. He's replaceable.
