Has anyone heard anything about the release of the 1994 Diesel that was revealed at SDCC last summer?

Man I wish I could do a headswap with a 95-96 era Diesel. But E16 is the only choice and it is way too expensive to get a hold of and I don't want to mess with the one I already have. Plus, the sculpt wasn't really that good anyway.

Why we haven't got more Nash and Hall figures is quite perplexing at this point I must say I completely agree. I'm still disgusted with the RSC exclusive. That is my favorite Nash attire. But they gave him brown hair and a ponytail (neither of which he had in 98). And to make matters worse, THEY HAVE THE VERSION THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE ON THE PACKAGE. Long blonde hair flowing. Luckily I headswapped with an Elite 16 Nash so it looks good. They actually did the same crap with Wolfpac Sting. That version on the package is how he should have looked. No NWO at all (or put it in the right place at least). And he has the black lines on the side of the lips, something they skipped on the figure for unknown reasons. But I digress. |

I am definitely looking forward to this Diesel. I have the other one, but as @alias said, the head sculpt isn't very appealing. I am ready to replace it, but I'm not unloading E16 until I get this one in hand.

I have both Nash & Diesel from E16 and the RSC exclusive, but I have a feeling this will.be my favorite.

Something about the e16 head just always looked off to me, so I've never had any interest in getting it, but this looks pretty good.
Too bad it's part of the HOF line.

You just spoke out my thoughts exactly. Not only did the Wolfpac Sting have the nWo logo but it's in the wrong spot and the torso is way too thin. The lines on vertical lines on the lips bugged me too and my only explanation would be how they aligned the lines on his eyes causing the ones on his lips to not fit which sucks. I also think the hairline looks weird on the sides and would of preferred his hair to cover his ears, rather than slicked back. Same thoughts for Nash too, however I think this Nash scan on this hof is the best of all three likenesses and my only issue is that it has a mullet and I won't be able to swap it to my RSE without having to find a hair piece that works. |
