What about this......During the title match Y2J throws his US title out the cage leading to a distraction and an Owens win. As punishment, Y2J is stripped of his Rumble spot and it is given to Reigns. Reigns and Strowman eliminate each other and Goldberg/Lesnar do the same leading to their singles matches at Mania. Taker wins and goes onto Cena/AJ at Mania....Balor returns after Rumble to challenge KO at Mania. then Seth goes after HHH. This is actually not bad! |

The time has finally come...after being a fan since 1985 (when I was 2)and dedicating my life to wrestling, I can no longer watch/enjoy Raw. I've been in denial the last year, hoping and wishing I could enjoy it again. Everything seems super forced and boring as hell. Even Jericho (one of my favorites) winning the US title was flat. Only other time in my life I remember thinking raw sucked this bad was during Triple H's "reign of terror" on raw, but I still was entertained by certain aspects of the show. All and all I know no one gives a crap if I watch or not, this is just me coming to terms with it myself lol. I'm sure I'll catch some of an episode here or there, but from now on if I'm watching wrestling on a Monday night it'll be a classic raw or nitro on the network.

Just skipping through the majority of the show now. The most surprising thing of the week is that Stephanie shared a ring with The Undertaker and didn't find a way to emasculate him. I was thinking this too, but I think Undertaker is one of the few people she would avoid doing that with. Her character is the worst. I fully expect her to come out and cut face promos next week. |

Smackdown is much more enjoyable to me. Being 2 hours helps alot. I was never a fan of AJ but he's a great champion and an incredible wrestler so he has turned me into a fan. I guess I'm just bored with the way the company is as a whole. Even the formulas for matches, I'm not sure if I can put it into words without rambling. Bottom line is I'll still tune into Smackdown. I can't just quit cold turkey lol. The whole Roman thing is pretty close to a rehash of how they stuffed Cena down our throats. I was lucky enough to make it though that era lol(but i was trying to get into the business at the time)but I can't watch it all over again for the next 10 years. It may be my age but I'd rather watch Steamboat vs. Rick Rude call it out in the ring for 15 min. Anyone check this out yet 😂 "I'm the great Khali now!" "Let's clang our titles-" "Is it clink?" "I don't know, the kids are doing it..." Seriously, Jeri-KO are the best thing going right now promo-wise. They have surpassed (current) New Day & Enzo/Cass. I REALLY REALLY pray they don't split them up just for a stupid match at Mania. |

There's a relatively easy way out of this, though I don't suspect they'll do it.
Reigns wins the title at the Rumble, even after interference from Braun Strowman, because Roman Reigns.
Roman returns the favor and distracts/attacks Strowman in the Rumble, leading to his elimination. A returning Finn Balor wins the match.
Reigns and Strowman face off at Fast Lane in March, Reigns beats him.
Reigns faces Balor for the Universal Title at Wrestlemania. You can go with either result here, but I actually prefer Reigns turning during the match and beating Finn.

Okay this RAW was just straight up bad. The only thing I like right now is the women's division on RAW and JeriKO, and that is barely watchable.
1.) I usually eat up everything that Enzo & Cass do but that whole segment was cringeworthy. If HBK isn't gonna wrestle, just keep him to a pre-show guest or or something. The segment did nothing for anyone involved.
2.) Would it have killed WWE to have had Strowman stay in NXT a while and learn how to not sound goofy as hell and learn how to sell not and not be incredibly akward? I applaud that they are building the guy up in a decent manner without just blowing through everyone, but he is so out the realm of quality its frightening.
3.) Not quite sure what the New Day/Titus feud is about and what the endgame is, but it is making me have a tad disdain for the New Day.
4. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP CHANGING THE ROPES FOR THE CW DIVISION!!!! I'm glad they are getting decent feuds started, but it honestly, should not be a part of RAW. It just feels forced and out of place. Really wish that they would have just had 205 Live from the get go. Would have been much much better, but I'm sure things will ramp up when Aries jumps in.
5.) And why isn't Rollins calling out, making fun of Steph/HHH, messing up the shows, to get HHH back? That is a feud that has been screwed since the start. After a few weeks they should have had HHH/Steph go full rogue on Foley and continually held down Rollins and denied him from a title match. Rollins/Strowman, not Zayn/Braun should have been the feud to get Strowman over and to keep Rollins away from the main event. That way when HHH does come back, Rollins can say "ever since you screwed me over I have been held down by your stupid family, etc"
The lack of a decent undercard kills Raw week in and week out. The stuff with Reigns/Owens/Y2J is flat out stupid, and why are Enzo/Cass feuding with one of the dumbest and most random teams ever instead of a mega feud with the New Day?
Atleast Smackdown is on tonight, and it will resemble a competent wrestling show.

I think they're making it seem TOO obvious right now. I'm sure there is gonna be some sort of plot twist at Rumble. I am thinking the same thing, but this is Reigns. We all thought there would be a plot twist on the RTWM 31 & 32, but he still main evented both shows, this looks no different. He wont be the top match, but the Universal title. Idk, still wondering where Balor fits into the picture when he returns. |
