Does all the Hogan love stem from the gaps in collections or are there really that many Hulkamaniacs out there? Not being an a hole, literally just asking. I never understood the appeal of him (Was always a Macho fan, and Doink). He felt so cheesy and over the top (yes, I know that I just said I was a Doink fan). Hogan is like the biggest wrestling guy ever. There's gonna be a HUGE demand for figures of him. Of course there's a collection thing involved too, but he is such a major part of why wrestling still exists as we know it, it would be impossible to not find tons of fans of him. I totally see why Mattel released the major Hogan attires at separate times, though. I could see Mattel wanting a cooldown time between major releases like the classic Hogan and Hollywood and instead of the big ones some "passable" minor ones.

I love the Tugboat figure. Easily some of Mattel's best work to date.

So odd that they all came out within a single year, too. But hey, more roster depth for niche characters. I'm glad Shockmaster sold as well as it did. That thing was hilariously well done.

As far as guys with 2 characters already made that could use a third:
Syxx to go with Kid and Pac Vinnie Vegas or Oz to go with Nash and BDC Diamond Stud or Big Scott Hall to go with nWo Hall and Razor Big Bubba, Guardian Angel, or Ray Traylor to go with Atiitude and Classic BBM Commisioner Regal or Real Man's Man to go with modern Regal and Lord Steven Blade Runner Sting to go with Crow and Surfer Stunning Steve to go with SCSA and Ringmaster Goodfather, Kama, or Kama Mustafa to go with Godfather and Shango Chainsaw Charlie to go with ECW and WWF Funk

Hogan rules wrestling brother, I'm surprised you didn't know that ...Hogan was everything (until about 1998) I was young in the late 80s and early 90s and would have my Dad call me into the living room when Macho Man was on. I didn't start watching heavily until the Attitude Era/Monday Night Wars days. Even then I would flip channels when Hulkster was eating up airwaves. I can dig it brother. When you were too young, Hogan was the champ. Even when Hogan wasn't the champ he was the champ. Wherever he was, whatever he was doing Hogan was the champ

Totally agree. So cool to finally have a figure of Tugboat. Mattel really knocked it out of the park with that character, perfection. One of my favorites. Tugboat isn't perfect until he gets a headswap with Shockmaster. Not sure why Shock got the "toot" head and Tug didn't. It's not the toot. It's a oops face. My Tugboat came with a brown mark on his cheek so the headswap was a lucky break for me lol

I would too. I'm referring to different characters or "faces" if you like, on who has 2 or more figs represented... WCW Ron Simmons would be amazing. Historically important and it would look badass. As far as the old Galoob figures go it is still one of the best ones. Translate that figure directly into Mattel's parts and you'd have gold. Hopefully we get a HOF simmons.

Wherever he was, whatever he was doing Hogan was the champ that's cuz there's nothing without him. he made everyone watch the first time AND the second time. NO hulkster, no WWF. NO hollywood hogan, no A/E. Imagine no nwo and the wrestling world had to just go with the new generation and dungeon of dooom wcw...< shudder> The Horror. Hogan was the champ regardless. The way Andre was the man even when Hogan was the champ until he turned heel "I am the champion but you're the champion!"... That was a true passing of the torch. This and WM 17 to Rock (although there's been some almost's with hogan goldberg, hogan warrior & rock cena). Andre was the man but never the champ. He was the Boss but not the champ. Hogan made the wwf belt his and the wcw one as well. I didn't matter who held the belt because they were just holding it for Hogan. He must be part of a rare list of - if not the only guy - holding multiple versions of the same title. He's had 5 different wwe titles (original green, 2 more black strapped ones, winged eagle and undisputed). Anybody else had that?

I have the Tugboat and am looking forward to getting Typhoon. I just hope I can afford that Shockmaster before it gets any more expensive.

Tugboat figure is great. Its a shame that its slowly starting to warm in my area.
Could go to several different stores and get at least 4 at each

I love them all. Can't wait to find Typhoon. I'll even take a sumo wrestler or a Tenta with a half-shaved head!

I'd definitely rather have these three.
And that Tugboat looks SO much better with the Shockmaster head.
