Trade him to TNA for Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero. "What's Rojo Mowley doing in the Impact zone?!"

Mojo is the epitome of what a coke-head is. I imagine he sits in the back with a mountain of happy right before his match.
This is why I like him. To me and my buddies, it's fun to think about what exactly he does before a match that gets him so amped up.

Honestly, keeping his obnoxious frat boy personality would be perfect for a heel character.

I wonder if Ryder and Mojo were penciled in to beat the Wyatt Family for the Tag Titles?? It seems like they would be with having American Alpha take them off the Wyatt's. Couldn't really see it. I think the plan has been to get them on Alpha but needed a big moment win. The Wyatt's on paper are more dominate than any other team. I think they were building Ryder and Mojo up to be a legit team to fall to the Wyatt's.

They missed out on a potentially decent angle.
Zack Ryder is injured. The Hype Bros were in line for a title shot. In like a hawk swoops Curt Hawkins. He convinces Mojo that because Ryder is his "brother" that Mojo and him could team up. A third wheel type angle is played out. Kind of like they did with the Road Warriors and Droz but without the whole Hawk is a drunk angle. Then Ryder gets jealous that Hawkins and Mojo are becoming successful or chasing after a title that he put them in position to go after. Hawkins becomes a spotlight hog (so a minor tweaking of his current Facts Character). Ryder and him ultimately clash after Mojo and Ryder get into it. Mojo has to choose sides: his bro or his bro's "brother".
In the end, Ryder turns on Mojo and aligns with Hawkins, and the Edgeheads are reborn under a new name.
Uncle Edge would be ok with this. I would say proud, but I don't know him, and I'm not too proud of this fan booking. But still, there was potential to do something here instead of just seeingly dropping the only thing that helped Mojo get over.
(Cornette made a good statement awhile ago. You can't expect guys who are playing a character in NXT to just drop the good parts of the character and still get over to the same extent. Not saying Mojo was good, but he was playing a character for so long, that it might be hard for him to retain his momentum when he debuts something new)

I thought this thread was going to be about him being released.
I don't ever like to see anybody lose their job, so for his livelyhood, I'm glad he is still employed. But as a fan, I'm sorry, I just don't care for him at all. I don't think he's anything special in the ring, I find his character obnoxious, and for somebody who had access to the WWE Performance Center for as long as he did while he was in NXT, I think it's unaccpetable that he's not in better shape. There is no excuse for wrestlers to be out of shape in this day and age, Kevin Owens included.
I hope he eventually gets better in the ring and gets himself in better shape, or he probably will end up released.

Ironically the first time Mojo got me talking other than debating with frienda on if hes on coke or speed, was during last week's Smackdown when he told Crews to chill, the opposite of what he usually insists on, being hyped.
I didn't mind his hype gimmick but the fact he didn't genuinely get anyone hyped was a flop in my eyes and made the character pointless.

If one child's heart feels hyped then Mojo did his job, amirite?

They'd all of sudden decide "Hey, we need to bring this random guy up" and give him a brand new gimmick and give him no time to even prepare. Just throw him on tv and blame THEM when they don't get over.

Developmental can be a good thing but most seem to have a hard time getting over when they get called up. I.e. Breeze or Bo

I think Mojo and Apollo Crews would be interesting together. maybe someone needs to jump on Dolph's being a bad guy and make Dolph badder, and to really break Mojo and Crews to get them kinda Wyatt-y

I'm not a fan of his hyped up hyperactive gimmick, but the obnoxious fratboy jock simpleton deal seems like his actual personality. Even during his Talking Smack segment where he supposedly drops the gimmick, he goes right into "you rockin' it playboy" nonsense. If that's his thing, let him do it. But hell, SD badly needs some new midcard faces to lose to Ziggler, Miz and Corbin. So hopefully his new thing works.
