Real shame about the shirt. I don't know why they insist on using a shirt mold that seems to be too baggy for most of their torsos. Might have been cool if MDT did the same kind of paint effect for Macho's shirt that they did for Stephanie's Elite with the see through parts. Macho always wore this sleeveless shirt in his matches right? So it's stupid to me then that it's removeable, shouldve just painted it. Then we'd be stuck with some chipping skin tone on the exposed skin shoulder sides or something. Probably better they didn't try to innovate. Love this figure!!!! Wish his arms were a little bigger though. I think I agree with you. I hate these flat two dimensional arms. MDT needs to do pretty much all arms like Brock's arms just scaled down a little. One thing all pro wrestlers have by and large are large arms that aren't necessarily insanely vascular. I HAAATE this triple h arm Seriously? Why not just paint it on? Mattel's arms suck. Flat and wide...they look awful most of the time imo

Love this figure!!!! Wish his arms were a little bigger though. I was thinking this as well. His arms were huge when he came back with this look in '99. He came back from surgery (can't remember if he ditched the wolfpac before he left or after. I can't remember) and was ROIDED like Don Muraco. Those are the only two guys whom I've ever seen come back looking LIKE THAT. It was like seeing Roddy Piper in They Live for the first time. He is RIPPED in that flick. It looks like Roddy Piper's head on someone else's body. Macho at this time was basically the reverse of 1993 Hogan lol He was never the same though. You could just tell he was so roided that it messed with his head. Macho is almost lunatic scary during this phase. Being around him must have been crazy. He ruined his reputation in a way (in the sense that he was really stiff now) and this next phase ended his career. He put too much stress on his already banged up body and the crash and burn of wcw sealed the deal as far as his career went. An older Macho Man kicking ass would have been great for one last run and match but that TNA moment was all we got. He didn't even wrestle and he got scared enough to back out. I can only assume when he climbed the turnbuckles he was in pain and just said f it, couldn't perform at the level needed. He could have come back before the tna thing but his price was to high for wwe. No stupid Stephanie rumor GARBAGE. Vince and Macho had some heat but Vinny is a businessman. The heat was from Randy Slapping Vince in the face in front of everyone not cuz he slept with young Steph lol. Then the tna crap out and then the hof came calling and he vito'd it because he wanted to whole family to go in. At least we got the figure commercial and some great figs to remember him by.

Totally agree. He was the one wrestler I kept waiting for a comeback or at least a final match and it never came. He didnt even get that title match with Jarrett. I heard he wanted to win the belt but TNA didnt want that to happen so he backed out. Who really knows. Had he lived I feel like he would have come back sooner or later for appearances like Bret and Hogan. Sucks that never happened. Always will be my all time favorite wrestler.

Always will be my all time favorite wrestler Randy is by far the best seller of all time. Perfect gets the best bumps but Randy's face can't be beat. That natural wince morphs into any expression so effortlessly. From when his ankle's been mashed up and he finishes the match with one boot on to him being bitten by the snake - all the same expression. That's how real macho kept it lol

Looks like an awesome figure, thanks for the pics. This is the first instance of Savage I saw as a kid when I got into wrestling and WCW in 1999. Unfortunately living in the UK I won't be able to get this figure, unless some helpful WFigs member could help me out thanks lol

Wish this would've came with the Elite Christian mesh shirt. I might've actually bought it.

I echo the sentiments toward Macho in this thread. I don't know if he was the best in any one category, but he was great in almost every category. If there was anyone better at selling, telling a story or channeling emotional energy into everything he did, I can't think of who it would be.

I drove around to five different Wal-Marts in the past few days and haven't found it yet. I did score a BATB three pack though but damn, I've been wanting this Macho since 2010!
