I'm curious how many lovable idiot wrestling gimmicks we can name.
I'm referring to gimmicks like Hacksaw Jim Duggan, where their whole shtick was being a dumbass and making us cheer them out of pity.

I think babyface Doink would definitely count, especially when he had Dink with him.
Bushwackers, Elmer and Cousin Junior are good choices as well.
How about Norman the Lunatic and subsequent Trucker Norm gimmick?
How about Evad Sullivan?
