Hello everyone! I recently bought John Cena and Brock Lesnar RETRO figures since I couldn't in good conscience play with 20 year old figures that deserve to be preserved. Moving on! I find them quite enjoyable, even compared to basics and elites, they have their own unique charm which I feel justifies my desire to have a small roster of them. I'm planning on building a 14 x 14" ring for them, but I wanted some thoughts on interesting accessories for them. Any custom ideas or suggestion of manufactured items is appreciated. I'll post pictures of the ring as I build it.
I would also like to say how I missed being a part of this great forum.

Awesome. I saw your Imaginext ring and thought that you built a nice, sturdy ring. Seriously, if you're going to make another quality ring like that, you should go the whole 9 yards and get a mat/ringskirt/turnbuckles thing going on.
As far as accessories, good old fashioned cardboard makes great tables. Electrical tape over some toothpicks for legs. Wal Mart sells those big pieces of construction paper for like a buck that you could use to cover the cardboard up to make an announcers table. Hell, Wal Mart also sells those, like, uhhh, they're the same size as the big ol construction paper deals, only like...thicker? I dunno, I used to use that stuff all the time to make floor mats and ring mats and stuff.
Cardboard, strong scissors, electrical tape, construction paper, uh "harder" construction paper (what's it called?!), toothpicks, superglue... All that and some imagination, and you should be able to come up with some cool stuff.
Looking forward to keeping up with your progress.

Here are some Hasbro accessories that work very well, if you don't feel like making all of it. If you scroll down in this post, you'll see some photos I took of some "Hasbro size" ladders, chairs and table in action. forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/319731/mattel-related-battle-hasbro-accessoryThe ladder is the top half of the giant ladder released from Jakks Pacific. The chairs come included with some of those bootleg wrestling figures from the Dollar Store. And as mentioned in the thread, the table is from the Hornswoggle/El Torito battle pack. Hope this helps and good luck. Would be cool to see another custom Hasbro-size ring.

There are the very few Hasbro accessories we got like the 2x4 that comes with Hacksaw.
I find anything extra cartoony and bulky works, like if you go to the dollar store and not only look at the wrestling figures but also the cops have some cool pylons and barricades, and dolls might have some cool chairs, etc.
There are also very few that you could make yourself, a simple chain, a fan sign on thick, glossy card, off the top of my head.
I have been wanting to do this for OSFTM figures, oh...speaking of...if you find any OSFTM accessories, those are bulky and cartoony, those would probably work well for the most part.
