God forbid if Vince does die then I wonder who should get control of WWE? I mean it only makes sense for Shane McMahon to gain control of WWE and why:
- Shane is Vince's only son his first-born son the first born child so it is Shane's birthright naturally - Shane has a good head for business especially opening up the WWE market or being exposed to the market in China - All the big players obviously will want to deal with Shane and not his sister Stephanie or his brother-in-law Triple H - Not to mention Shane is in charge of creative or creative seem to like him much better than his sister or his brother in law - Shane behind the scenes is starting to become much more important than his sister Stephanie and or his brother in law Shane

It's more than likely going to be Stephanie. She's had a death grip on the company for years.
If years of insider knowledge is any indication, general consensus seems to be that Shane does not have a knack for creative and most of his ideas were laughed out of the room. It's known to be part of the reason there was growing dissension between he and Vince before he left the company. Granted, at times, it probably seems like an idea that Vince laughs out of the room might be the best idea given his current track record of creative, but we simply don't know.

Yeah but I would rather Shane be in control because in the McMahon family control has always been passed down from son to son first son to first son each generation so why shouldn't Shane inherit? Just because he was gone for years and so what? Shane actually has a good head for business hell he probably has more business experience than his sister or his brother in law has a better business mind than they do and not to mention the talent they would probably listen more to Shane than they ever would Stephanie/Triple H

He's going to go with who he feels will best carry on his legacy, not what tradition dictates.

Joel Gertner seems the most likely.

Its going to be HHH, unless HHH dies before Vince or is caught cheating on Steph. Vince has been grooming him for years. Hell, cheating on Steph might not be enough to avoid a HHH WWE reign.

It's definitely going to be Stephanie, and nothing is going to change. In fact, things will probably, somehow, get worse, like Punk said in his pipe bomb.

I'd assume that Vince's legacy is that the WWE brand remains tied to a McMahon. Just on pure observation and no factual backup, I'd say that Stephanie has more aptitude for the business than Shane does. Are her ideas better than his? I don't know, but she's definitely got the passion. That alone will make Vince give it to her. By extension Triple H will take the reigns, but it will always be a McMahon with the majority share.
Now I know Stephanie is not stupid, I'm sure there's a pre-nup involved somewhere too, so if Trips wants to keep the keys to the kingdom, he's got to play by the rules.
McMahon's grandkids may also come into consideration in the next 15-20 years too, three girls with Steph and three boys with Shane I think right?
