I think it was just a joke, there didn't seem to be much to the conversation and they quickly moved on to another conversation. They've done enough pissing about with the titles in the past few years. Watch them try amd make the 2 midcard titles identical now.Wouldn't shock me if they use the WWE title design and add a globe behind the 'W' for the IC title and the US flag behind the 'W' for the US title tbh 😕 |

I think it was just a joke, Dean saying it smells because Miz had the belt before him, insinuating that Miz smells.
I would like a new IC belt, the novelty of the classic look has run its course. I would like the oval belt back, but i'm afraid it will get old after awhile too.
If they do bring in a new IC belt, it will be a new design. I'm hoping its an original design, but I feel like they will use the wwe/universal/women's design, but the center plate will be design differently like how the UK title is.

I'd be fine with the same design only with a black strap. I think it's the best looking belt WWE has right now. So I'm not interested in seeing any drastic change to that title.

I am not sure why they made the universal and women's belts match the WWE title if they weren't planning on streamlining all of them.
Go all in or don't go at all.
Intercontinental Championship - white strap much like the Women's belts, but white background on the center plate opposed to red or blue. White underscore to the logo too.
US Championship - Black strap, but American flag pattern behind the big WWE logo.
I like how UFC has all the same belts. I think it would be cool for WWE to do the same.

i like how it is now. the white is an awesome look. although only certain champions should use the white maybe, and for the rest it be the standard black.

I think it'd be cool if dean just came out with a new belt, no big in ring announcement or anything, it'd fit his character pretty good.

Maybe this guy I mentioned in another thread was on to something! Not wild about all the colored straps. I do like the silver color better though. If they're going to mirror designs I would rather see detailing on the plates color specific instead. Kind of like this:  Honestly at this point, and I'm sure I'm alone, I wish they would go full UFC and use the same design for all of them. I've seen mock ups of the US and IC that weren't bad. I'm glad they will not look like the other 4 belts but the WWE just cannot design decent looking belts anymore so I'm setting myself up for a disappointment. The more recent Cruiserweight title proves that the current designer hasn't got a clue. |

I'm old. My eyesight is failing. I don't want to have to squint at a title belt on my TV to figure out which one it is. WWE needs to stop with the cookie cutter belt designs.
