I think that would look pretty cool for basics, but it's not all that dissimilar from what we already have honestly.

Drew this up before and added a mock Shawn Michaels figure for size purposes, how would you feel about your mattel figures coming on these cards? Brilliant. I LOVE it. If they came like this I'd have kept them all moc. How cool would these be as do it yourselves? This backing plus a bubble with a peel off sticky side - bang! - your own moc hasbro mattel. I'd like to see more. I always wished mattel would have taken that inside cardoard panel in the boxes and gave them a backgound like the ljn or hasbros (which ever period the flashback was biggest in).

This is pure garbage and poor aesthetic design for Mattel to consider They already had the Retro Figures at Walmart why bother redoing it on a bigger scale figure? Packagin wise - this is poor Drew this up before and added a mock Shawn Michaels figure for size purposes, how would you feel about your mattel figures coming on these cards? Pure garbage? Do something better d-bag. I like it alot. It suits the figure perfectly. What an ahole thing to say - nothing constructive at all, just hate. I got news for some of y'all this is how the original figure looked so how is it 'pure garbage'? these haters, dude. This is cool. Can you make an ljn style one for say macho king or warrior, etc. I like this PURE GARBAGE alot. I'd consider buying backings and bubbles and do it myself...if there was an ljn one too I;d REALLY consider buying some...

Not something I would want. Hell even with the retro figures I wouldn't want Hasbro styled cards, because they aren't Hasbro. Mattel needs to be their own style/design. Even with the retro figures while they are scaled about the same as Hasbro's and have similar action features I wouldn't display them together because the Mattel head sculpt are much more realistic than Hasbro's cartoonish heads. I don't get the hate on the hasbros. They're beautiful compared to the ljns. I'll never forget the first time I saw the commercial - at the beginning of the wrestlemania 5 tape. Blew my mind, had to have them. Didn't find them till 4 months later in the us... but I loved these figs, They actually DID something. They look great. The cartoony heads all the look better than the ljns so still I don't see the argument. Amazing colors on then - I loved to draw as a kid and I think my total bias comes from the fact that I loved the over stylized (in a cartooony sense) look of them. I loved drawing the clear figs on the back. I just love the look of those guys. The attitude era toys were ugly f'n garbage and jakks were crap too. LJN, Hasbro and Mattel - all I respect in terms of wwf figures. The hasbros also kinda reminded me of the cartoon. Had we not had the rubber guys (based on the toys with cartoons model of the 80's) i think the rnr toys would have looked similar to these. To each his own right but I don't get how some of you guys can't see the beauty in these figs so different. There's none like them. Just like the ljn's - a unique set of toys for a unique product. Super Powers had Secret Wars, Transformers had Gobots, He-Man had Thundercats ad Gi joe had every other action figure, etc LOL but the wrestlers had no counterpart. I was getting out of toys around now I think anyways...these were the last. I remember Defender of the Earth toys, batman movie toys, turtles and these guys being the bigger toys of the time and again the wrestlers were different. I think it's a beautiful line of figures and much nicer to look at than the ljns at least.

I really like it. Alot, so much so that I want RSC's next flashback exclusive to use one of these. Its not best for retail with how easy it would be to stea, but as an online exclusive with maybe a clam shell cover for easy protection for shipping.

I just said the Retro's while similar to Hasbro's in scale and action features have to realistic looking faces to display together with Hasbro's...And because of it I don't think Mattel should make their packaging like Hasbro's. They should make theirs stand out.

I'd buy a lot more figures if they looked like this.
