The problem with promos like this is that Cena talks his opponents down so much that when he beats them, it doesn't make him look good.

So Cena completely dismisses AJ and when he does beat AJ, it's not going to really matter other than Cena just tying Flair's record. That promo served AJ no purpose unless Cena is actually supposed to be the heel, which I doubt.
