Just me who thinks after defeating Evolution they were right to break up The Shield? After the 2nd match they felt ready to go onto the main event scene as singles wrestlers.

he's right, no question about it. they turned him heel accidentally and then he wasn't taken seriously from there on in. if evolution hadn't gotten together again it would've been a disaster.

I think saying he was screwed over is a bit excessive. Didn't go how he had hoped. Didn't go as many would have liked. But that's life sometimes. Least he still had a great WM main event. And two great matches with The Shield. Triple H needs to learn the same thing every comic fan has... Don't ever doubt the Kevin Feige. He has the Midas touch. I always wanted Batista to be the one to retire Triple H from being active competitor. Triple H never defeated him one on one and I'd like to have seen them use that as a story. Hopefully we haven't seen the last of Big Dave. Does anyone else find it mildly amusing that the ones crying Batista was screwed are the same exact ones complaining about him taking Bryan spot back in 2014? Can't have it both ways. Somebody had to lose out. What I find amusing is that Bryan and Batista are now in reverse roles. People hated Batista because he stole Bryan's spot but now I see people hating on Bryan and his fanbase because they supposedly disrespected a Legend lol. |

Bryan earned it! WWE are so blind. 2017: WWE screwed Batista by giving Bryan the main event spot. Batista deserved better. WWE is so stupid. WWE wanted Batista to walk out of WM the WWE World champion. But it was the fans who weren't having it. The crowd threw WWE a curve-ball and they adapted. Shame, cause I love Batista. But as I said, you can't have it both ways. Somebody had lose out and the fans dictated it had to be Batista. |

Bryan winning at Mania 30 was the right move. It sucks that Batista was promised so much and WWE did not deliver, but that's business.

Batista is rewriting history. He thought he'd come back the conquering hero with his tight ass girl pants and douche sunglasses and everyone would kiss his ass. Men like hero's they look up to or relate to like Austin not someone who thinks they're better than them. That's why they loved Bryan and hated Batista.

Batista was in James Bond, made a movie with De Niro, and he's going to be in the Blade Runner sequel. Why on Earth do you not want him in bed with you right now??? No, go get Shaq instead... I realised a couple years back that the saddest thing about WWE is they are blissfully unaware of their own importance. Look at The Rock's Facebook likes. Look at John Cena's likes. Look at WWE's likes. Compare it with the likes of Conor McGregor who is the hottest thing going in combat sports right now. WWE's outreach is almost incomparable. Pro wrestling is, in the eyes of the ignorant, not even a real sport - yet WWE have an outreach similar to that of a national sports league. Combine that with the fact that they are hugely popular worldwide (in a way that even America's premier sport - the NFL - could struggle to match). And yet here they are slipping over themselves to get some dude that nobody knows or cares about from Youtube or some American talk show. Consider my reaction, in Ireland, when a 'celebrity' fella who I have no  ing idea existed comes out and buries two wrestlers in a comedy segment. It's brutal and it's unnecessary. WWE have always focused on the external and any modern company should. But their outward focus is beginning to eat them alive.. and it has undoubtedly hampered the product. It's not too late, though, because they still have a global mass appeal. They just need to stop acting like they are LESS THAN these celebrities.. when, in fact, they are much, much more. |

Batista has said multiple times that he thought the company was asinine having him return as a face. He didn't want to be "a hero," he wanted to be a villain. He knew how over Bryan was at the time and told the WWE that the fans were going to boo him because of the situation he was being placed in and, as usual, Vince ignored logic and did what he wanted to anyway. |

WWE can't plan months in advance anymore. To stay ahead of the dirt-sheets WWE is forced to book on the fly. That's the times we live in. Had they not, rumors would have been running rampant about a possible Shield break up. We all would have been waiting for it. By booking it the way they did, it caught all of us off guard. The WWE got real emotion out of us because nobody saw it coming when it did. |

Couple months later they were cool with each other. Taker has set Kane on fire several times, killed their parents, and yet they hold no grudges. S**t doesn't always make sense. It's a wrestling tradition at this point. |

I remember specifically hearing "experts" predicting this movie might ruin the MCU. Turns out it was fantastic and made way more than expected. It's also my favorite MCU film to date. |
