2004 for me. It was such a stacked Rumble looking back. It was unpredictable and while Benoit had a great story going in, nobody actually thougt he would win it until he did.
1. 2004 2. 1992 3. 2002

2004 , 2007 , both were amazing Benoit winning was unexpected and the payoff was great , and him and Eddie had that amazing moment at mania , but because his action WWE doesnt show one of the best moments in mania history , 2007 was everything seeing taker and micheals before the great feud later on down the line , and then taker winning and have a great match with Batista at WM 27 , and micheals and Cena was great

1991 or 1992. To be honest with you after 2008 every single Rumble match for me blends into the other and none are all that memorable.

I loved 2004 at the time.... really unexpected that they actually had Benoit pull it off, and the final elimination was one of the best finishes in a Rumble.
But that one is tarnished forever for me personally now. I really enjoyed 2006. Rey was unexpected. I tend to lean more toward unexpected winners. Last few years have been so boring with super obvious winners. I believe Edge in 2010 was the last truly unexpected.

1990 is my favorite Rumble ever followed by 1992 for being a very close 2nd. I feel the 1990 one is the most star powered Rumble match ever (Hogan, Andre, Savage, Warrior, Piper, Jake, Ted, Dusty, Perfect, & the list goes on). Also it seems like the 1990 Rumble never stops, it is fast paced action from start to finish.

1992, 2001 and 1998 are my favorite Rumbles. I think 98 is my actual favorite Rumble card of all time.

I have a few personal favorites mainly because of moments or themes burned into my brain.
- 1995: HBK hanging on might be one of the greatest Rumble moments ever. At the time Bulldog was one of my favorites and I was so excited he won. Then Shawn hung on and knocked him out. I was like "Respect. I can't even be mad at that."
- 1998: I mostly remember this one for Foley. He showed up three times in this Rumble. Cactus and Chainsaw were absolutely brutal in the beginning. You kinda cringe watching it now, but it stands out. The Rock also lasted over 50 minutes in that one and Austin was on fire. Loved the moment his music hit and everyone stopped and faced the entrance waiting for him to come out through the crowd. Mike Tyson also had a hilarious interview after where for some reason he kept yelling all his answers into Cole's ear rather than the mic and he declared that "Cold Stone" was his man.
- 2001: I always call this the Hardcore Rumble. I remember a lot of weapons and mostly the beastly performance of Kane.

Royal Rumble 2001 is my personal favourite. You don't need the biggest star studded roster in a rumble to be successful. This Royal Rumble defined what the Attitude era was at the time and I liked the rumble mainly for the weapons, blood and kane's effort was monsterious. That including No Way Out 2001 go down as the best lead up to the biggest event in wrestling history Wrestlemania X7! ☺

Royal Rumble 2001 for me followed by 1992 lol
Side note: it must just he the age difference but I prefer Jim Ross to Heenan and Rock, Austin, HHH, AE HBK, Angle, Jericho, Benoit, AE Taker, Kane, Big Show, Hardy Boyz etc to Piper, Flair, Hogan, Warrior, M$M, Andre, Savage, Old Taker, Old HBK, IRS and so on.

while others might be 'better' for different reasons, i chose 2001 because of how much it mattered to me at the time. kane being as strong as he was in it was great.
i loved 2002 for the mr perfect appearance as well.
