I wasn't attacking the man or his status in the music industry. I'm just shocked that the man seemingly is the GO TO guy for Wrestlemania themes. It's almost like an exclusive contract or something similar (obviously not exclusive since there's been others. But this is the most I've seen from one artist).

I bet he gets into the WWE HOF before Miss Elizabeth, Bam Bam Bigelow, British Bulldog, Honky Tonk Man, and Demolition

As other people said he's popular. I associate wrestling with rock music and I believe a lot of other people do too, but rock isn't as popular as it was years ago and the kinda crap that Flo does is more popular so it makes sense to have him to lure casual fans.

Yuuuuuuck. I was sort of expecting them to use "The Greatest" by Sia (feat. Kendrick Lamar) this year. I suppose they still could, given that there's always multiple themes. I mean, The Greatest is okay, not the best, but it's okay.

I don't love the song or anything, but it seems to fit the bill of being a trendy artist with a catchy, upbeat song about being, well, great.

Hold up...if you associate Flo Rida with ROCK music, you really don't know much about rock music...or any kind of music. Flo Rida is poppy hip-hop. Sugarcoated Top 40 hip-hop that nobody outside of tweeners listen to and even they'd be hesitant to say they actually enjoy Flo Rida's music. EDIT: Nevermind. I read that wrong lmao My apologies EDIT (again): I googled it. It better not be what I found because "green light" isn't even a Flo Rida song, he is featured on it. It is a PITBULL song. FML.

I dunno, but he makes me long for "WWE's favorite band" Limp Bizkit. A monkey banging two tambourines together would be better than him. Limp Bizkit was supposed to perform a concert at a Dayton Ohio Sunoco Gas Station on 4/20 but it was a hoax but the fans believed it was true and showed up there. That goes to show what level Limp Bizkit fans are at

WWE LOVES HIM. HE EVEN DID A SUMMERSLAM CONCERT IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY. Actually, he was going to, but the ticket sales were so terrible that they cancelled it.

On a side note...I always thought "Back in the Saddle" by Aerosmith would've been a great song for the main event of Backlash 2002.

From what I've heard he's Kevin Dunn's favorite. I forgot who told the story but there's a story out there that Dunn used to walk around backstage singing Whistle all day long. Needless to say he was pretty embarrassed when someone finally explained to him what the lyrics meant.

It's a good song and lyrics make sense, I like it for mania.
On a side note, the song is actually by pitbull featuring flo rida and another guy.

WWE has Flo Rida's music for their PPV's because that's what they think their target demographic listens to. Flo Rida isn't everyone's cup of tea, but his music is meant for the party type atmosphere and that's what WWE wants Wrestlemania to come across as to their fans.
Personally I don't listen to Flo Rida, but in the past his songs have gotten stuck in my head from all of the commercials and promos WWE runs for Summerslam and Wrestlemania each year.

No idea why Flo Rida would be featured at an event held in Florida...
