I love me some WCW, but what the hell is with Booty Man? Who the F thought this up? Honestly, I like a lot of wrestlecrap gimmicks, but Booty Man just pisses me off. Just you Booty Man.

The Booty Babe always looked sexy though!
I also loved how his finisher was the high knee as in like a 'hiney'.

It just struck me as a way to try and keep his gimmick close to the WWF gimmick he'd had.

Kimberly was so hot when she was with DDP and later in like 2000 when she was doing the "Me" shtick, but did nothing for me with Booty Man or Johnny B. Badd.

This gimmick was more like the Barber than his other WCW stuff so I assume it was a final attempt to get over. At least Kimberly was worth watching. Brutus ing sucks.

Yeah, I didn't mind him as Butcher, because it was at least somewhat logical. Barber turns on Hogan, like all Hogan's friends do, and becomes the Butcher. He could have kept that name and tagged along with Sullivan and Giant, all the while bitching and moaning about Hogan being a douche while giving Hogan someone to beat up. The Zodiac gimmick killed any heat he could have drawn and Booty Man was just such a desperate reach to make us remember the Barber. Dumb old WCW.

This site needs more threads like this. Got a good laugh reading through your responses.
I'm right there with you though. I loved him as The Barber when I was a kid, but I recall being so confused when he went to WCW. At the time I was too young to understand why most wrestlers were forced to use different gimmicks when they switched companies. I'd watch with my mom and brother, and would ask them what was going on with him. My mom pretty much sounded like you when she'd try to explain. I remember her seeing him on screen as The Zodiac for the first time, and she just suddenly blurted out "this f***ing guy...he must be losing bets to the other wrestlers and they make him do this stupid s*it as a joke".

Yeah I don't understand why he changed to the Zodiac either. I didn't like The Butcher (mainly because it's Brutus) but as you said it was logical, and at least it was something different to Brutus sucking Hogan's arse (although when he became The Booty Man he reverted back to this).

Did anyone in the history of pro wrestling have more personas than Ed Leslie?

That guy and his shitty gimmicks. Can't forget about the Disciple. Where he was a biker that wrestled in chaps. He was just a random ass biker in the nWo, it didn't even make sense.

And he just showed up out of nowhere with that gimmick. No surprise attack to introduce him as a new member, no build up, or anything. He literally just showed up out of nowhere and casually walked into the ring as NWO were beating down some WCW guys as if he was late to the segment. And I don't even think he did anything when he came out, he just stood in the corner and watched lol. If the announcers hadn't briefly mentioned his presence, it would have been easy to not even notice he was there during his "debut".

Did anyone in the history of pro wrestling have more personas than Ed Leslie? If anyone did, it would probably be Darsow, Charles Wright or Mike Shaw. Even if they had more, I doubt anyone had has many WWFWCW personas as Brutus.
