Repainted the Vince McMahon Network Spotlight figure. The likeness is there, the paintjob was not! Completely repainted the face, darkening the mouth, redoing the eyebrows, coloring the lips, shading the akin to make it realistic, etc. Even added the start of the gray temples ala 1999!

Was expecting a painted on singlet. Great job. Captures his likeness much better.

Very good job. I've been working on repainting heads lately, I know it's not the easiest thing at first, but it makes such a huge difference. Bad paint apps often hide some amazing sculpt/scan jobs on these things.
What paints do you use?

I've gotten pretty good at matching base skin tones for various toy lines, but I've been trying to expand into the more realistic shading/highlighting stuff. It's been a bit rough though, watching and reading various tutorials.

Amazing job! I can finally see Vince McMahon in that head sculpt. The paint on the original version was just horrible which made it look nothing like him.

Outstanding. I haven't purchased figure in well over a year as I've been holding out until Mattel makes a Ken Shamrock figure but I feel like I need to get this one. If/when I do, I may have to recreate what you've done.

mattel is so lazy. see a simple paint job makes the head look 100% better.

looks great. Yeah like others have said sometimes the sculpt may be good but of the paint job isn't it'll make it look like crap. I've been working in heads too. I repainted the crappy Hasbro obi wan sw black head. makes a world of a difference
