Ringside mats for the ESR

With all of the awesome things going on around the Custom Accessories board the last few weeks, I caught the fever and decided I wanted in on the action. A special thank you to Turnbuckle Zealot(Phil) for getting the idea out of me in his thread - forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/341947/potential-accessories-hasbro-mattel-figures -
I've been tinkering with the idea of picking up the ES ring mat deal, but that price is ridiculous. After seeing rastlinfigures awesome "Classic Rumble Finishes" photo spread - rastlinfigures.wordpress.com/2017/01/26/classic-rumble-finishes-part-1/ - I decided to head out to the storage shed, throw on a shoot interview, and get to work.
I'm thinking about putting some Velcro on the bottom and attaching them to a piece of cardboard (with duct tape to simulate a concrete floor) to keep them in place... Still not sure though. Feel free to throw out some suggestions!
I'm thinking about a way to do guardrails without (1) Having to buy them (2) Not making them black or blue... Any help there would be appreciated!
I'll update when I make some progress, and if anyone is interested in taking them off of my hands (or better yet, making your own!) feel free to ask.
