With all of the awesome things going on around the Custom Accessories board the last few weeks, I caught the fever and decided I wanted in on the action. A special thank you to Turnbuckle Zealot(Phil) for getting the idea out of me in his thread - forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/341947/potential-accessories-hasbro-mattel-figures - I've been tinkering with the idea of picking up the ES ring mat deal, but that price is ridiculous. After seeing rastlinfigures awesome "Classic Rumble Finishes" photo spread - rastlinfigures.wordpress.com/2017/01/26/classic-rumble-finishes-part-1/ - I decided to head out to the storage shed, throw on a shoot interview, and get to work. I'm thinking about putting some Velcro on the bottom and attaching them to a piece of cardboard (with duct tape to simulate a concrete floor) to keep them in place... Still not sure though. Feel free to throw out some suggestions! I'm thinking about a way to do guardrails without (1) Having to buy them (2) Not making them black or blue... Any help there would be appreciated! I'll update when I make some progress, and if anyone is interested in taking them off of my hands (or better yet, making your own!) feel free to ask. Thanks for looking, and thanks to all of you doing you part to keep the Custom Accessories board alive!

Thanks for tagging me! I'll have my ring post up soon! I'd recommend buying cooling racks and metal snips and making guardrails.

Arg if i knew a way to make accurate guard rails I would have. I tried 3d printing but the cost per item is too much. I tried finding a toy manufacturing co. online to produce them with no luck. I don't get it. This should be doable at a reasonable price per piece. Accurate in scale guard rails. My dream.

What did you make them out of? a piece of foam covered with a piece of cloth? I've been trying to come up with a way to make a set of the flaming Nitro floor mats.

Nah, I just cut up a sh*tty old box and used the cardboard. The WCW Nitro mats are a bit trickier... Hmm, y'know, if you have a printer (and ink...toner!) you could probably find a good print out of the mats. Then just cut up some cardboard, add a little glue, and whamo!

I made some scale guardrails not too long ago, I used my dremel, hot glue, and a buttload of wooden dowels. My custom thread is out there somewhere, they look cool but took forever to make enough to surround my ring/mats

I'm keen to see this as I'm looking for ideas on this very thing.
