Why is he complaining though? Sky is the one giving him the offer and he hasn't got to do anything for it except pay a less amount. I'm sure the least he can do is stick it on a tape.

perhaps he doesnt have a video recorder, because he has a box that will record shows.

And perhaps he's been told that the show he wants to record can't be recorded on that box. Perhaps he's stuffed then.

ACTUALLY ORDERED THE 3 FOR 2 THEN FOUND OUT BY PUTTING IN THE PLANNER USING SELECT IN TV GUIDE ON TIME 1AM ON MON 8TH THEN IN PLANNER PRESS R ON REMOTE IT SAYS CANNOT RECORD CALL 08705800800 FOR ASSISTANCE THEY TOLD ME BOOKING OVER PHONE WHICH IS HOW YOU PAY FOR THE OFFER CANNOT ENABLE RECORDING
AT THAT POINT I ASKED SKY HOW TO RECORD THEY SAID CANCEL AND ORDER ON REMOTE (BUT OFFER NOT AVAILABLE WITH REMOTE ORDER)
MY NEAREST AIRPORT IS PROB JOHN LENON SO I URGE YOU COME DOWN AND BRING A BIB IT GETS MESSY

Another problem is that my Sky+ box turns itself off at night so I would have to stay up to keep my Sky+ box on in order to record the events!

Press "Services" > Press "5" > Change "Auto Standby" to "Off" > "Save New Settings"  Thanks alot youve just saved me alot of bother! ;D |

Last time I tried to record a PPV it said this programme can not be recorded. this is utter BS that you can't Sky+ is.

All these people saying use a video, is just ridiculous. He bought a box, with the aim to record Sky programmes on. Then, to not be able to record a show is just ridiculous.

I'm guessing part of the 3 for 2 deal is that you have to watch it on the night and not at a later date. If that's the case then of course you can't record it.
